Well! Where do I start, as I've said so many nice things about so many establishments, it would be hard to separate the chaff from the wheat.
I write this review with anguish because I'm so loyal to over 1,000 restaurants that I feel privy to even sit down and dine with, but Meson Los Naranjos is one of the best. 'Mark my Words'
So let's start with the bad stuff; Near the BP Garage on the old N340
Next door to sunshine golf.
Pretty evident the location is noisy, lacking in views and not desirable
And that's it!
The location is dismal, but once seated and believe me you need to book. The service is splendid, obviously family run and we were served by the daughter in law, pleasant, helpful, bi-lingual and very informative.

Tell you what, 11 out of 10, gold star See you...
Read moreReally unhappy with the quality of the meat. We were going to have the Beef Sirloin Retinta from Cadiz but were advised they had fillet steak, 1250g which we were happy with, except it was not Fillet!! Not Sirloin, Not Ribeye, & I have had much better rump! Came seared & sliced, with a big rib on the side?? Not sure what cut it was but lots of fat, no flavour & finishing it on the hot stone does not allow for resting. The chips were great, the veg were good if very small portion for 2. Wine was fine. It could have been wonderful, but turned out very poorly. Extremely disappointed, if that is the best meat from Cadiz, God help us!! We learn from our mistakes, & this was a big one. Unfortunately we do not have good enough Spanish to relate this directly to the restaurant, but we do feel we were taken advantage of. YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT IN YOUR REPLY, YOU TOLD US IT WAS FILLET STEAK , NOT RIBEYE!! ALSO I HAVE NEVER HAD A RIBEYE AS TOUGH OR WITH AS LITTLE FLAVOUR. THIS WAS NOT A MISUNDERSTANDING IT WAS A INFERIOR PIECE OF MEAT, POORLY COOKED! THE FAT NEEDS TO BE PROPERLY RENDERED...
