Visited in mid July having heard the food was very good and so arrived early to a very friendly midday welcome.
Only a few steps away from the main tourist plaza the venue is very clean, inside it's modern and outside there are a handful of tables on the street side which were fully occupied by the time we left.
Menu in Spanish and English is without food pictures which is definitely a good sign. We noticed that the locals meet and eat here which was another great impression.
Quick, friendly and attentive service we ordered a sharing platter with 2 side orders between 3 which was more than enough.
It's obvious the chef cares about great quality ingredients as well as combinations and great cooking. Beautifully presented it tasted wonderful. Lightly bread crumbed croquettes and prawns were crisp, not greasy and not overcooked. Dips we're cool and fresh, salad trimmings not flaky from the summer heat, sliced meat very tasty, potato bravas - we finished the entire dish!
Having sampled quite a few tapas restaurants we'd definitely return here and at a very reasonable price we've saved...

Food 3,5/5 Let’s say the food was pretty good. We orde Atmosphere 2,5/5 Restaurant is located near the main road, so if you want to have a cozy snack, this is not your place.
Food 3,5/5 Let’s say the food was pretty good. We ordered Salmon poke bowl, Vegan plate and a brownie. I am not used to eat a lot but the poke was too small for me so I was a bit hungry. Vegan plate was a lot bigger but more expensive as well. Considering the price the ratio vs food is a bit off. But yea it looks pretty 🙂 brownie was ordinary for me, but my wife liked it a lot. So, maybe it is a taste preference.
Service 6/5 Very kind and willing service girls. I would definitely give a lower review unless these two girls were not so kind. Even without our call she fixed the table.
So paying 50 EURs for poke bowl, veggie plate, brownie, small non-alco beer and 250ml coke is a bit expensive.. but i have...
Read moreI want to preface this by saying that most restaurants in Mijas seem overpriced compared to other towns / cities we recently visited (Sevilla, Granada, Jerez) it seems most of the restaurants in Mija is catered to tourists and therefore we anticipated poor price to quality proposition. The food here was pretentious with small portions. We didn't see any locals at this restaurant. Ordered 3 tapas and drinks. The cod fritters were more dough than fish. It was beautifully presented but tiny and didn't have any fish inside. This was the most disappointing dish. Skirt steak mini burger was juicy and nicely cooked. Pork sausage mini burger was average. Nice touch with complimentary sweet liquor. Staffs were very friendly and nice. Unfortunately a disappointing meal for us and we left to find more...
