Cheers — Restaurant in Mojácar

To be honest ! The name some what put us off , we decided not to go in nearly all holiday, on our last day, we were near and we didn’t want drive to find somewhere else , so we went for it….

Boy o boy o boy!!!

We were so so pleased we did !! It was fantastic! Great staff, great out side table for two on the balcony! Great food too! Probably the best cheese cake I’ve ever had , the main ( pork ) was perfectly cooked! Great ambience! The ( assuming) owner is Italian , and speaks better English than Spanish, so all good there ! All together one of the better meals we had this trip!

Goes to show.. you shouldn’t judge a book (restaurant)by the cover(name)!!

Very friendly people! They didn’t know our name when we arrived …but they (I mean, but not everyone) knew our names...

I came here for 3 separate times as the food was so superb. For dinner I had the steak and it was beautiful, working in London I’ve had some decent working lunches in steak restaurants and this stood out as one of the best steaks I’ve ever enjoyed!! Delicious peppery garlicky oil dressing that was just divine! We were served by the owner who was really friendly and attentive and a younger waiter who gave some excellent recommendation and top service. I was recommended to come here for dinner and tapas by a friend who said they the food and services always impeccable. Probably my favourite place in Mojacar!! When I come back to Mojacar I...

Cheers lives up to its reputation - the tapas were fantastic, the service was exemplary, and the atmosphere was super! We went for tapas late one Saturday afternoon - we sat out on the veranda - great view of the beach, ocean, and the mountains! The owner sat us down and made sure we knew this was a time to relax - we felt very welcome! We each had a beer and a selection of five tapas - larger portions than we expected and great quality!
