Wow, this was absolutely amazing! I’ve visited Mojacar many times but this was my first visit to BellaVista Restaurant. It is now my favourite restaurant in the whole of Mojacar! The food was absolutely delicious, every single dish! We went with friends and shared the starters, we had cod croquettes, stuffed mushrooms, prawns, and scallops. All were so nice we could have eaten them again! The cod croquettes and stuffed mushrooms were my particular favourites, totally sublime! I don’t eat a lot of fish but I tried the prawns and the scallops and they were fantastic too. For mains we had pork medallions in mushroom sauce, sole meunière, cod in curry sauce and octopus. All of us were extremely happy with our choices, the food was delicious and we highly commend the chef for such a beautiful meal - the flavours were amazing, very well created. We had a brownie and a pastry almond tart for desserts which were also very nice. The staff were wonderful and so attentive, they wanted to make sure we enjoyed our time in their restaurant and were so helpful with recommending wine choices and food choices for us. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant and you won’t be disappointed if you go there. Even the temperature was good - it was a particularly hot and very humid evening and the air conditioning was on but it was also ventilated, making it a perfect temperature. The room is spacious too, with plenty of space between tables. Everything about it is fantastic! Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely...
Read moreGreat restaurant where your custom is always appreciated. Always a friendly welcome, superb service even when busy. Food is always really good with a reasonable choice and pleasant vino de la casa. Good location too overlooking the sea. One of our favourite places to have a meal out. We have visited a number of times & never been disappointed. UPDATE We visited again on 27th October 2023. Price for the menu del dia/noche is now €18. I had my usual, calamari & Tina had smoked salmon rolls filled with cream cheese with avocado cream, mine was lovely as always but the salmon rolls were superb. Both had the duck which just fell off the bone & for desert I had the almond tart while Tina had a very alcoholic copa amaretto, both were delicious. A very enjoyable evening. Thank...
Read moreFabulous hidden gem!! Although we live half an hour inland from Mojacar, we had a night out planned so decided to stay overnight. We love the restaurant but didn’t realise a hotel was attached to it. Small but modern, spotlessly clean, modern decor/furniture throughout, including common way areas, and friendly, welcoming staff. Room clean, comfy bed and bedding, and facilities were excellent - kettle, coffee, sugar, mugs and two small bottles of water provided. Air conditioning, TV, towels and shower gel also provided along with hairdryer. Our room had a fabulous terrace including seating and sea/beach view. Right in the middle of the Mojacar strip with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We will definitely be staying here again if we don’t want to drive home after...
