Solana beach — Restaurant in Mojácar

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by a good friend. They have spent no expense on the interior. It's fantastic. The service is also very good. I did write to the owners re our experience and go a thanks but no thanks reply. The food is not of the quality they charge. Salmon croquettes were nice but had no salmon anyone could taste. Tuna, the girls said. "not again" it was way over cooked and the vegetables were like "school dinners". The house burger was a burger out of a packet with one slice of plastic cheese, for 14€. So, alas we wont be back. It's also not a place I'd recommend for any Spanish friends because of the majority of their clients. I'm afraid I won't be recommending it to friends, indeed quite...

Arrived and seated straight away. Drink order was fast. We had to ask for a food menu after 15 minutes of waiting. 40minutes into our stay no one had come to take our order. It was not busy. Staff stood around chatting near the bar completely ignoring the fact there were customers waiting to be served. 1 table had 4 waiters serving them they were clearly regular customers who spend a lot of money. In the mean time we had no customer service at all. We decided to pay for drinks and leave and go to the Indian next door where we received excellent customer service....

A stunning renovation, this place is gorgeous. A great asset to Mojacar. Varied menu to suit all palates. The Calamari was a little tough, but the rest was lovely. Not a fan of their house wine so opted for an aperol spritz which was perfect.
