TRATTORIA SOTTOCASA — Restaurant in Mojácar

During our recent trip to Mojácar, Spain, we had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Sottocasa twice, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. Our first visit was so delightful that we couldn’t resist returning, this time bringing along friends who hadn’t experienced it before.

From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The restaurant’s rustic charm, complemented by stunning sea views from the terrace, created a perfect setting for our meals. The menu offers a wide array of Italian dishes, and everything we tried—from the flavorful starters to the mouthwatering main courses and indulgent desserts—was prepared with evident care and authenticity. The pizzas, in particular, stood out with their crispy crusts and fresh toppings.

Lovely restaurant with indoor , outdoor or terrace seating . Great views of beach front. Very friendly staff and pizzas were amazing with lots of choice . All the food we saw being served looked great .... The only downside was service . It wasn't overly busy yet no one checked if we wanted more drinks and it was really hard to get the staffs attention. We waited 40 mins to try and order another drink and dessert but gave up in the end . A shame as Lovely place and food . I would go back but would hope service would...

I invited a couple of friends for pizza. The 1 m Pizza is impressive and more than enough for 3. The service was good during the meal, however as soon as we had finished eating they removed the plates and cleared the table. Then every few minutes they came to ask if we needed anything else. They very obviously wanted us to leave. No time for the Spanish tradition of "sobremesa". Prices are...
