Bar restaurante Cala Ancla Costa — Restaurant in Motril

Given the fact is was hard to book a place, we managed to get here as last table available. However, the google rating is pretty accurate. Although if you're hungry is a good place to eat, and stuff your belly, is not amazing in food whatsoever. 3/5 is the best i can do.

Here are some my personal remarks on it.

Although it is a crowded space, they could bring more than 1 menu to a table of 6 people. Missing any drinks menu, sadly. They put a piece of bread near your plate for tapas, which is very dry and hard. The potato salad that is served as tapas takes almost as nothing, only vaguely as potato and nothing else. The fried fishes have no taste, i could only taste the crust, which was pretty bland too. No salt, no condiments... mostly the oil i felt. Only the fried octopus actually had some taste. The shrimp was overcooked, i could remove the guts, because they melted completely and the undigested food remained inside and I couldn't remove it properly. It was very chewie and rubber-y. The garlic sauce was smooth (nice) and garlic-y, but it was so salty, like someome dropped a bag of salt in it, not lightly season it

Paella was tasty, way better than many other places, but that's it. The rice was overcooked (hard at the surface, i almost broke some teeth) seafood was overcooked (rubbery and chewie). Everything was...

Estando de vacaciones con mi familia decidimos ir a desayunar a este sitio en el cual fue una verdadera vergüenza por parte de una de las camareras la cual no puedo decir el nombre ya que no iba identificada, pero lo que si puedo decir para que el dueño pueda identificarla es que estaba en el turno de mañana el día 16-07-23.

Esta chica se le pidió unos cafés con leche fría los cuales se los dijimos por cuatro veces consecutivas, ella con total despecho e ignorancia nos los trajo erróneos y con muy malas formas,cada vez que le pedíamos algo su actitud iba en decadencia y con una chulería sobrepasada. Al ver que seguíamos pidiendo cafés ella decidió directamente traermos la cuenta ( invitándonos a irnos sin ningún motivo ) por último su comentario fue "yo no estoy aquí para dar viajes" un comentario que sobra dentro de un estableciendo donde solíamos venir y por culpa de esta chica nos pierden como clientes.

Espero que se tomen medidas ya que este sitio era un referente para nosotros.
