Fantastic Seafood & Service – A Few Tweaks Away From Perfect

A Marina de MUXIA Restaurant left us with a great overall impression. The salburiñas were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented—and the fish dishes were fresh and perfectly cooked. The service was also outstanding: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive.

On our first visit, the entrecot was overcooked and dry, which was disappointing. But when we returned, the staff went out of their way to acknowledge the issue and even encouraged us to let them know next time so they could make it right. That level of care and commitment really stood out to us.

While the steak could still use some refinement, the rest of the menu—especially the seafood—is excellent. With such a strong foundation and such a dedicated team, we’re confident this place will only get better. Highly recommended if...

Out of the many restaurants in the main street facing the harbour, this one looks like more of a tavern for locals than a fancy fish restaurant. We sit in and receive a pincho with the first beer (no vegetarian pincho available). Vegetarian options are salads and the pimientos, so we go for both. We also try zamburinas, percebes and pulpo, while drinking a bottle of Albarin, local white wine.

My wife, a friend, and I had a wonderful comida here this past Saturday. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We received great recommendations for starters and the grilled fresh seabass as our entree. They even showed us the piece of fish they were recommending to make sure we were comfortable with the portions we were going to receive. The wine recommendation was perfect as well.
