Our stay at The Nava Real was totally unplanned. This is the third year we have stayed in Navacerrada for a ski trip and we have always booked our stay at The Husa Arcipresta. Twenty minutes before arriving in the village, we were hit by a quick snowstorm and there was no way we were going to make it to The Husa, which is located 5 minutes up the roadway from the town. We had remembered seeing the charming and quaint looking Nava Real while strolling around town the year before so we headed there to see if there was a vacancy. Right away we were shown two rooms to see which one would be more accomodating for our family of four and a roll-away was brought up for our 6 year old. Since it was late, the restaurant was closing for the night but the night manager and waitress on duty were more than happy to keep the bar open for us for drinks and a quick, light snack. The room was cozy and quiet, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The building itself is beautiful from the outside and the inside is very well maintained and charming. While it is centered right in town and has no facilities like a pool or children's play area, it provided us with a safe and very comfortable night's rest out of the snowstorm. We can't thank the Nava Real enough for making us feel so...

Read moreWe decided to escape the heat of the city and do a bit of hiking when we booked this hotel. It is located in the town of Navacerrada which makes it very accessible to public transport (interurbano bus) and to some nice hiking trails of different levels of difficulty.||The room is exactly what you want from a quaint hotel- relaxing, comfortable beds and a balcony. A good size bathtub to stretch out in after a day's hike was a bonus. I have give a special mention to the housekeeping of this establishment as it is by far the best maintained / cleaned room I have seen in a very long time. The room was immaculate- pristine white tiles, sheets, towels and floors. Even the common areas were so squeaky clean. Well done guys! The check-in and out was simple and people were very nice.||Only thing that someone might have a problem with is outside noise at night if you have your windows open which you will as there is no ac. You can hear cars going by or people talking if they are walking by. Really there is nothing that can be done about street noise but maybe if you are a light sleeper request a quiet room.||Overall very happy with this hotel and look forward...
