Food Karma Gastro — Restaurant in Nerja

Heavenly! Nothing bland or unseasoned here.

If you haven't visited Food Karma Restaurante yet, it's high time. Good, tasty and super nice staff. I myself think that the food can sometimes be unsalted and unseasoned when you go to a restaurant here (strange with such fine ingredients), but that is not the case with Karma! So well seasoned!

Hamburgers with expected and unexpected ingredients. Nachos, ribs, steak, etc. and yummy drinks. Nicely laid out and good dipping sauces for homemade fries or wedges. Can recommend the jack daniels sauce or aiolin with black garlic.

And their desserts are to-die-for if you're into that sort of thing. Chocolate mousse cake with Crisp and Oreo crumbs. Almost licked the plate. They also have home delivery now. My fifth visit and not my last.

And restrooms are nice and clean.

Located by the market up on the terrace with a view of the sea and mountains. The sunset can be enjoyed from here. So get there so this little gem can stay. Opens 13:30 to 16:00 and then the evening...

We went the third time today and every time was the same. So after giving many second chances ( only because the restaurant is in our urbanization) I’m finally writing this and will definitely never come again, because: Waiters are rude and let you wait endlessly. We asked 5 times to order drinks and nobody was willing to. Rather cleaned tables than taking our orders. the food is only ok and totally overpriced - if you want great burgers and great food overall, go elsewhere, for example Raw Lounge on the beach...

La experiencia aquí ha sido poco o nada gratificante.

Por lo que he podido leer en otras reseñas, puedo confirmar que es habitual que tarden 1h y 30min en servirte la comanda, aunque debo decir que no a todos, porque la mesa de al lado, que llegó media hora después, terminaba su comida cuando llegaba la nuestra (tal cual).

En cuanto a la calidad de las hamburguesas, pues depende de lo entrenado que tengas el paladar, pero si pides una salsa de yema de huevo emulsionada con trufa esperas trufa, pero aquello no sabía ni siquiera al aromatizante sintético de trufa (trufa engañosa).

La cantidad tampoco destaca, pues es escasa, ya que ni siquiera te la acompañan con patatas y debes pagarlas a parte a precio de oro, incluso dudo que la carne dé el peso que venden, pues estoy más que acostumbrado a manejar 200 gr de carne picada (falta cantidad).

Si quieres tomar algo de verdura, no la encontrarás dentro de tu hamburguesa, sencillamente no hay opción para pedir una "classic burguer". Toda su carta está plagada de lo que ellos entienden como hamburguesas gourmets, pero que para mi no son más que un quiero y no puedo (falta la clásica).

Mención especial merece la ensalada, que sirven en un platito rectangular del cual incluyo la engañosa perspectiva de su propia foto en redes sociales, pero que puedes meter tranquilamente en un sobre de dimensiones estándar, por tan solo 12€ (ridícula ensalada).

No merece la pena en relación calidad/precio.
