NERJA Club Sports Bar — Restaurant in Nerja

I have been visiting Nerja for over 20 years and I was so disappointed with the food at Nerja Club it was a real shame. We were looking for a late meal and sadly Los Arcos was full so we decided to pop into Nerja Club. The service wasn't amazing but eventually we got served and all was good however I can honestly say it was one of the worst meals I have ever had in Nerja. So sad as I have always had a soft spot for Nerja Club. The fish was square frozen fish, skin on under the bread crumb and the whole thing was just unpleasant. The sweet potato fries were soggy and as for the chicken burger, it was the smallest piece of chicken I have ever been served as a main meal that had been cooked until dry. It was almost inedable. We live nearby and decided to try this place for lunch, this was a mistake. We ordered chicken wings and chicken filetes. Both tasted like they were cooked from frozen after lying in the freezer for way too long. Chicken was very chewy, tasted off and awful, even fries were horrible. We left the meal pretty much untouched. Nobody bothered to come and check if our meal was ok. I think we would have had a much better meal if we bought frozen food from Mercadona and cooked it at home. Service was non existent, you have to order at the bar. I will never be back, it was the worst food I have ever...

There is no service, you have to go to the bar and pay before you receive. Now I understand why….the food was without doubt frozen food re-heated. They couldn’t even get the fries right…all over cooked and hard. We would have sent it back and left if we didn’t already pay!

Also there was a happy hour offer. Buy one and get one free on drinks. Twice at the bar they tried to stiff us in the price. Not taking the full price off etc.
