Casa Da Vinci — Restaurant in Orihuela

Very good food, friendly staff. Not too expensive. But: for every group/couple who come in they ask if they have a reservation even if they have plenty of space. When you say you don't have a reservation they pretend that they only have one table left. This is really annoying, specially when we sat right next to the entrance and noticed this every time someone came in. feels like they want to be some kind of fancy star restaurant but they are not there yet. We were 8 people who were completely sober and first time at Casa Da Vinci. We do not usually go to that area but you should try new things sometimes. 4 of us got good food but the other 4 got a very bad risotto and when we complained about it and did not want to pay for 1 (one) of the portions, it became VERY unpleasant. We have been to the restaurant opposite of Casa Da Vinci before and there the service is absolutely SUPERB. But we will NEVER go to Casa Da...

Really happy with the food here, exactly what i expected. I had a delicious garlic king Prawns starter at the restaurant and wanted to take 2 pizzas with me. The staff was super attentive and helpful making sure the pizza's were ready just in time to take away. The location is also very lovely and clean. It is a family business and that shows cause it has a nice atmosphere. Will definitely try to come back here...
