La Luna Restaurante Bar — Restaurant in Orihuela

Disorganized, overpriced food for the quality and quantity. Norwegian price (costy) and Norwegian service (internationally known to be poor).

The waiter advised us to call and order 15-20 mins in advance. So we called to pre-order at 7:40 pm, arrived at 8 pm, and got our food at 9:10 pm. The food and service did not worth the 1.5-hour wait.

We waited a long time to be seated. Afterward, the 2-3 waiters EACH asked us the same questions (have you ordered, what did you order), showing us that they clearly didn't have things under control. During the wait, we saw the female owner shouting at her poor employees "things should be done faster! do this! do that!" Little did she know that it was her management and leadership skills that require some improvements.

The restaurant was clearly disorganized and I blamed that on the management. Shouting at your employees doesn't magically make things organized, not to mention it's a foul scene to see when you're dinning out.

We were quite disappointed by such experience as we have heard good words about them before.

Good Norwegian fishsoup but the cod, a small lukewarm pice on a huge pile of a tasteless mashed potatoes wrongly announced as "rotmos" (Swedish mash), bits of bacon and a small mix of peas, carrots and broccoli as tasteless as the mash. Salt and pepper available in small paper bags helped a little but a Norwegian inspired kitchen should be able to do better. When we went in, we were advised that there would be a long wait as there were two big tables before us - not a problem as it's nice to be informed. After a while we we told that our meals would take a bit longer - again, no problem as at least we knew about it. My wife said that the burger was the best that she had tasted. I had the pork fillet, which was excellent. No room unfortunately for dessert. Would I go again? Definitely. The servers were first...
