RESTAURANTE WANYUAN CHINO — Restaurant in Orihuela

This restaurant has been there for 20+ years and has changed owners 3 times. It used to be fantastic. The new owner 'Angela' has kept the same menu but changed the prices, which is understandable. What is not acceptable is that you used to get a drink included ( 1/2 bottle of wine, a can of pop, 1/2 a litre of water, a beer). THIS IS NOT INCLUDED ANYMORE AND SHE DOESN'T TELL YOU, YOU'LL FIND OUT THAT YOU'VE PAID EXTRA FOR IT WHEN YOU GET THE BILL. What was even more outrageous, was we ordered 4 small bottles of gaseosa and she charged us €2.50 each and they was from the Mercadona costing 23 cents. Also, the food has changed and its dry and less of it. Total bill for 5 would normally have been €8.50 x 5= €42.50, new bill total €84.50, no alcohol included just coke zero and gaseosa. YOU'VE...

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Restaurante Wanyuan Chino. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a rude and dismissive attitude from the owner, Angela. Her behavior was shockingly unprofessional; she seemed irritated by basic requests.

There was no one else in the restaurant, which should have been a red flag from the start. Despite the lack of customers, the service was slow and disorganized, with staff appearing untrained and inattentive. Angela was too busy eating her own dinner to bother with any of the customers.

The food was subpar at best—overcooked, bland, and certainly not worth the price. Angela’s attitude alone is enough to deter anyone from wanting to return. Save your time and money and find somewhere...
