This was the worst Restaurant I have been to in a long time. My colleagues and I went on a shopping trip to La Zenia, we have done this many times before and always have had good meals. However we went to the Wok Buffet and this time the food was a disgrace. Half of the Buffet food was cold and when we complained they either took the places away without comment or offered to heat the food up. We did manage to find some food hot but we also witnessed them placing freshly cooked hot food on top of food that had been sitting out on the counters. When we complained, were were told that they were too busy. Their waiters were rude and in fact one slammed a glass of red wine down on the table with no reason. The profiteroles were frozen like rocks and when we complained about this we were asked if we wanted to wait until they defrosted.
We were so annoyed about the whole experience we refused to pay the complete 15€ per head that they were charging and said we were willing to pay only 10€ per head as we had managed to find some food that was hot and we could eat and felt this was only fair. They did not agree so we asked them to call the Guardia to which they called the Shopping Centre Security Guard. The Security Guard was polite but she said as we had eaten we had to pay unless we called the Guardia. In the end we paid but I can assure everyone reading this review that I will never go there again and I hope after reading this that you too will...
Read moreWe visited the wok centre and there was a event on the stage, we sat outside so we could see, at first we went in and got some food, most of the dishes he’d a skin over then where they had been there so long and was barely warm, then at 6pm the event started and people started hovering around all the tables to watch the show, we complained to the staff and they asked us to move inside, we said no as we had my daughter with us and she wanted to watch, as it started to get busier one of my family had his elbow knocked and someone sneezed and it went on his food, after that we went inside to complain and they said there was nothing they could do, we asked for a discount as we had hardly eaten and they gave us a bill for 78€ for 3 adults one child and 4 soft drinks which was full price, we said we wasn’t paying that and they called security, in the end we paid 65€ to just leave as they closed the door and locked us in, I have been there a few times before be ok but definitely won’t be returning...
Read moreI could not contain my ecstasy at this divine holy church of food. I started off proceedings with what I like to call the ‘taster round’, and the sheer variety of food meant that despite only taking a tiny portion of each dish, the plate was full before I was even half way round. After my second taster round, I then went up for a further 3 plates, and a dessert. It was at this point that I realised I was incapable of standing up due to the enormous volumes of food that lay within me. Were there regrets at this stage? Possibly, but the food was so good that I cast aside the concerns over my fatally high cholesterol levels. What then followed was possibly the most painful walk home of my life, as I hauled my stuffed body through the streets of La Zenia, twice the man I used to be, I had to reassure many concerned onlookers that I was not in fact, 9 months pregnant. After returning home and promptly destroying my toilet, I got in to bed and my insomnia due to my overeating led me to write...
