I visit A PALLEIRA every time I’m visiting Spain, how would I describe it?:
SERVICE EXCELLENCE. DELICACY TO PERFECTION. PERFECT SERVICE. ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
I could just go on and on describing how good and recommendable this Special little Restaurant is. I would Invite anyone to challenge my advise if travelling to the City of Ourense in Galicia-Spain.
Every time I am close with the family I pass by with no excuse to eat in what is today and for the past years what I consider the best Restaurant in Galicia.
The Manager and staff always manage to create a warm welcoming environment making you feel like you’re dipping deep into the real Spanish cuisine culture.
Every single plate they deliver is created on perfection for you.
I can only imagine that they can be taken upon by visits of “self claimed” “Intellectual-foodie critics” every so often in their reviews, which I guarantee is completely absurd.
but yet I guess that’s the price you have to pay when your the best at what you do!.
I continue to recommend A PALLEIRA at everyone in the city or visiting. The manager CARLOS will treat you and feed you the best quality-Price cuisine you can imagine NO DOUBT.
My personal Favourite is the Octopus, Chipirones or perfect made Salpicón for entrance with nice White wine That Carlos will recommend you. And Bacalao, Entrecot or Lenguado all 3 made to perfection!!!🤤

Especially the combination of local tomatoes, asparagus and golden-brown goat cheese had the taste nuances of a poem.

Read more¡Una experiencia gastronómica para repetir y recomendar. Visitamos el restaurante A Palleira y quedamos encantados desde el primer momento. Nos recibió Carlos, quien no solo fue atento y amable durante toda la comida, sino que nos hizo sentir como en casa, con su recomendación perfecta de platos que definieron nuestra velada.
Empezamos con las gulas con langostinos, un plato lleno de sabor y con una combinación perfecta de texturas. El pulpo a feira nos dejó sin palabras: tierno y con el punto justo de pimentón y sal, tal y como se espera en una receta tradicional gallega. Seguimos con los huevos escondidos, una explosión de sabor que fue un auténtico descubrimiento, y los calamares, frescos y crujientes, cocinados a la perfección.
El broche de oro fue un chuleton espectacular, jugoso y con un sabor intenso, cocinado al punto exacto que pedimos. No podíamos haber terminado mejor nuestra comida. Todo esto, acompañado de un ambiente acogedor y un servicio impecable, hizo que nuestra visita a A Palleira fuera memorable.
