Horrible service - that the delicious food does not compensate for… bad experience overall

Food is great and delicious, but the service is soooo bad! The staff was pretty arrogant the whole time, there was always something missing on the table and nothing was done when we flagged it. My sister never got her gyoza, we never got the sparkling water and we could not even order desert because we were pressured to leave… we were a table of 12 and we left a significant bill but apparently this is not enough to be treated politely by the staff. We arrived late because it is impossible to find a place to park, and the waiter blamed the delay for all the bad services. With things like « we would have treated you better if you had been on time ». They rushed us through the service, bringing plates in and out in such a hurry, asking us to spend up. When my dad asked for another bottle of rose, the waiter just said « but you have to leave in 20min ». Half of the table ordered the full menu, the other half never got half of their meal and were not offered desert because we had to leave for the second service, they brought the bill with the few deserts we could have… eventually we left, clearly disappointed with the experience and when we mentioned it to the staff, they blamed the full lack of professionalism on their part to our 20min delay (does that prevent them from being polite and bring water…?) and said the next table was already waiting outside. I passed by the restaurant 15min later and our table was still empty. I allowed myself to go back inside and mention something (the staff had been so rude, I was obviously angry) and ironically mentioned « this place is really packed indeed ». The waiter came straight at me saying in Spanish (and without the polite form) « this is all your have to do in your life? Get out of my restaurant » and pushed me outside. He was so proud to say he was the manager and that « some people are working here if I am not able to understand that ». Dude, I work all year long and on top of that I work in the industry… never ever I have witness this level of amateurism with customers. Sometimes we have to be firm with clients, but I would never tolerate my staff to be that impolite and dismissive...

To be noted that we have been twice to this place 12 months apart and both times were an identical experience. Would i go for a third time? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Food was great both times. The surroundings are very nice. But the service!! Horrible! The first time we were almost quicked out of the restaurant even though it was barely 11pm. The crew was busy pilling up the chairs next to us and brooming.

We decided to give it a second chance this year. All was well until the waitress was experiencing difficulties with her credit card machine and after several attempts with two different terminal never came back to our table... As we were waiting for the waitress to fix her issues with the machine and pay our bill , we were then told the following word per word. "We need the table and you need to get out"

Fortunately some members of the familly had cash and we were able to settle it. But the rudeness of the all team there made us hate our evening.

So be warned! Great food but VERY nasty service that makes for an unpleasant experience during...

We love Japanese food so we visited Nomo Mar while in town. I give this restaurant an overall one star(first one ever)not so much for the quality of the Japanese Tapas which we didn’t get to eat but the quality of the service where the manager seemed to be more interested in a party of obvious friends which arrived at the expense of our table. After we were seated and with our drinks ordered and arrived, the manager appeared and said that we would have to move as this table was previously reserved, I explained this was not obvious to the server or to ourselves, her manners were both rude and condescending and ordered that we move to another table. I felt more than embarrassed in front of other guests. Rather than remonstrating with her we simply got and left assured we will never visit any of the Spanish Nomo...
