We visited Pals for a morning and stumbled across this place for a coffee/snack. The staff were friendly, the coffee was good, and we liked the ambience and menu so booked to return for dinner that evening. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh and tasty and the restaurant had a really nice vibe. For starters we shared the burrata salad and the artichoke salad - both were great and generous in size. For mains, the salmon and turbot were delicious. The vegetable paella could have been more seasoned while the chorizo burger was quite overpowering, but we shared enough of each between our party to balance it all. For pudding we had the figs with marscapone and the pineapple carpaccio - both really good. Wine was local and well priced. Gréât food, incredibly arrogant service. We ate on the 1st floor, they brought us the bill and I asked where to pay; the waitress told me to pay on the ground floor.
