I ordered the waiter's soup and water with ice and lemon. After 15 minutes he brought water and a flat plate with a knife and fork. I asked him if I should eat the soup with a fork. He made a silly face and disappeared into the kitchen. After another 10 minutes another waiter arrived and exchanged cutlery and plates. After another ten minutes another waiter came and said that the soup was over and he wanted to squeeze me in and some other dishes. I was hungry and angry. This is always a favorite when we visit the area. Situated next to the Sella river in the shadow of the 13th century Roman bridge, this place is a culinary staple of Cangas de Onís.

The setting is so beautiful and serene. The food is always delicious; personally I enjoy the entrecot and cheese platter. Also, the desserts are wonderful. The grandma cake (tarta de la abuela) and cheesecake are a few favorites. Like always, the staff is exceptionally kind and friendly.

Experiencia desastrosa. Pésima atención al cliente. Trajeron los platos de los adultos, que eran para compartir, todos al mismo tiempo, en lugar de uno a uno. No preguntaron. Las zamburiñas estaban buenas. El escalope de ternera parecia la suela de un zapato. He visto ladrillos con mejor aspecto. Las patatas eran fritanga pura. Tuvimos que reclamar el menú infantil porque se habian olvidado. El agua era del tiempo, no tenian agua embotellada fria. Los tortos se habian terminado y eran las 3 de la tarde, dijeron que 'no iban a ponerse' a hacer mas. Nos dejaron un plato pequeño a cada uno y ni se molestaron en cambiarlo ni preguntar, para pasar del pescado a la carne. Comimos el escalope con las conchas de las zamburiñas en el plato. El camarero desaparecido durante todo el tiempo. Ni nos preguntó si queriamos postre. Al final decidimos ir a otro sitio para el cafe. Hasta para pedir la cuenta hubo que ir a la barra en 2 ocasiones. El camarero un cero en atención y en profesionalidad. Un entorno tan bonito y el lugar muy poco cuidado, el suelo era una cochambrera lleno de colillas sin limpiar. El remate final fue cuando pedimos la cuenta por tercera vez y no nos dieron tiquet, sólo el justificante de pago con tarjeta. Cuando pedimos el tiquet de caja con el pago desglosado, nos dijeron que nos enviaban una factura por email porque tenia que hacerlo el contable o gestor. Alucinante. Desde cuando el tiquet de caja lo hace un contable? Unos impresentables. Yo no vuelvo y no lo recomiendo...
