My husband and I came for a lil’ getaway and anniversary weekend. Our local friends had introduced us to this restaurant a year ago and we had had a really great meal then. This time around some dishes were still great others were overly salted. The desserts were divine. We stayed at their “rooms” extension in the old town. The receptionist upon arrival was pretty unfriendly to the point that she was rude. In summary we booked dinner reservations and a room .. The receptionist did not lift a finger to help us. We called in advance to inquire about parking; she couldn’t give us the name nor was she able to help with directions to the nxt parking. She failed to tell us that we had to pick up the key at the restaurant first.. and so we were standing in front of the hotel (in the old town) and had to walk back to the resto. There was no welcoming service of “we’ll bring you the key (a 5 min. walk) so you can settle in and have a nice dinner experience following. We were staying over the weekend and were told the Club would go till very early in the morning and my husband is a very light sleeper. Fortunately the noise level was greatly reduced when we got back around 11:30 p.m. so everything was fine, but my husband was thinking he was going to have to sleep in the car. There is very limited parking near the hotel but there is a pay parking lot fairly close by. The room was lovely, had a balcony over looking the beach, comfortable bed, nice size bathroom, very clean. You can’t beat the location, right next to the beach (nude beach FYI), lots of great restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the Templar castle. We are Game of Thrones fans and enjoyed the castle and views from the castle very much. Breakfast the next morning was good, self serve but...
