The Ca'n Panxo is located down a small side street not too far from the sea front and is one of a number of restaurants located there. It has an oldy worldy feel about it and has seating outside for around 40 people and inside seats around just under 30. We hadn't made a reservation but arriving around 7pm we were greeted in a friendly manner and quickly seated inside the air condition area.

The waiters were all friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive and all had a good knowledge of the menu. The specials board was brought round and each of the items available were explained to us in good detail. In addition the biggest cut of steak I've ever seen was presented to us and again an explanation of the cooking process was given.

Our choices duly made we were presented with our starters which were Calamarines (prawns in a dark green paste like sauce) and spring rolls with prawns and pork for the filling. Neither was huge but this was a taste experience and neither disappointed.

Then onto the main courses. Two of us had black pig Iberian pork, two of us had veal cheek stew with potato gnocchi and one had sea bass. None of the plates had anything left on them. The desserts are home made but come presented in little preserve type jars and are absolutely delicious. 2 starters, 5 drinks plus water and a bottle of wine, 5 main courses and 4 desserts came to €152.

Can you eat for cheaper in Puerto Pollenca, sure you can but if you like great service and excellent food then the Ca'n Panxo does not disappoint. Highly...

100% RECOMMEND

What a great find! It was so good we went twice in the week we were there. Great service and atmosphere.

Food was excellent!! We had tapas on both nights and cannot tell what my favourite dish was. We had: Tumbet, Chorizo, Andalusian Squid, Pork Cheek, Meatballs, Patatas Bravas, Padron Peppers.

Can’t comment on the other food but the paellas and other fish dishes they were bringing out looked and smelled stunning.

I just had house wine by the glass and tasted great.

Waiting staff very welcoming and provided great service.

You may need to book as there were big groups or families etc but there’s a WhatsApp number in the window. I booked via this way in the afternoon and got a quick response for a booking that evening. Maybe worth doing f there’s a few of you to avoid dissappointment.

Overall, excellent! Would recommend visiting if you’re in the...

My husband and two friends had such a wonderful evening here last night. The food was amazing, the best paella I’ve had on the island, and I’ve had a lot! The cozy street full of lovely restaurants is a true foodie’s paradise. But what really makes this place stand out from the rest is the warm hospitality of the brilliant staff who treat you like friends over for dinner. They did so well to ensure the service was prompt despite how busy they were with only three servers! They were truly accommodating to all their guests and super flexible. Can’t wait for my next visit. Was a little reluctant as to whether I should leave a review in case I’d find it harder to get a reservation, but I’ve been promised a table whenever I should return - what more can...
