My new favourite place in Port de Pollença. Mi Querencia was recommended and it was great. A very friendly welcome from the owners, excellent food and good music.
We visited twice in two days last week, once for breakfast and once for lunch, and really enjoyed it.
There is seating for over twenty people inside, where the decor is very interesting and creative with some South American influences.
Our party of seven for breakfast/brunch was welcomed and tables quickly moved to accommodate us. The coffee (café con leche) was the best I've had in a long time - nice and strong.
Food was excellent. Most of our group had scrambled eggs or salmon and cream cheese on toast, which everyone enjoyed. We also had options from the Latin breakfast menu section which were very tasty. It was so good that I returned for lunch the next day to have an arepa (stuffed cornmeal cake) for lunch which was excellent.
Homemade cakes are available and lovely. Cakes are also made to order for any occasion (have a look at the poster outside for some really impressive creations).
Overall a really welcome find, and I look forward to...
Read moreAbsolutely wonderful little Venezuelan place in the heart of Port Pollenca. Very rarely do you see five stars with this many reviews, and they are completely accurate.
The owners are the ones taking care of their customers the entire time and take pride in their service. The menus are on tablets which was pretty unique and they had a myriad of offerings for breakfast and lunch.
If you are a breakfast person, I highly recommend the skillets. The salmon skillet was EXCELLENT and we ordered a wonderfully tasking chicken empanada on the side to share.
Almost everyone in the place were local customers, which how you know you are in the right place. If the locals are craving Venezuelan food, you know it’s good. 😊
We were ready for something a little different since we had been eating primarily traditional Spanish tapas since our arrival in Spain, so it was a very nice change of pace. Also, shout out for having a 45 vinyl Edith Piaf on the wall.
I highly recommend this place if you are in...
Read moreWe were passing this wonderful place, debating whether or not to go in when a customer leaving the establishment urged us to try, she said it was truly amazing, we took her advice and Wow are we happy we did. The menu is unlike anything we have seen in Pollenca , so varied and something for everyone. Vegans, gluten free, vegetarians were well catered for plus meat eaters. It’s no exaggeration to say that what we ordered was definitely the best food we have had in well over a year, the flavours, the portion size and the variety of ingredients blew our mind. We are so excited about this hidden gem we intend to go back for brunch tomorrows. Easily the Best food...
