AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ANY COST. ONE OF THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCES EVER!
We ended up going to this restaurant following Tripadvisor and The Fork reviews, alas, we had one of the most terrible experiences a family can experience for a Christmas Eve meal.
In terms of the place, it is cozy, rustic and traditional which were the attributes we were initially looking for.
In terms of the service and food quality, appalling could be the least painful word to attribute.
When we first arrived to the place, we initially perceived a “candid” greeting by the restaurant’s manager (or owner?), however the waitress in charge of our table was not even aware that only the Christmas menu had been offered at that time ; her knowledge of the menu, types of wine was beyond deficient and did not show any care or enthusiasm in providing a good service.
We first received the first round of starters and some wine which were fairly average to the standards and “quality” praised by the restaurant in social media.
The second round of starters only arrived one hour late; the food was cold, tasteless and with lack of presentation. After finishing the food, the restaurant manager approached and informed us that she had issues and a power cut in the kitchen and hence the delays. Bear in mind that it had been one hour and a half since we were sat on the table without being informed about this situation.
Later on, we decided to leave and asked the manager for the bill which she had the cheek to charge us more than a half of the Christmas menu without offering any compensation in exchange for the time wasted and poor quality service offered. We refused to pay this price and we asked her to charge us according to the prices in the menu. We ended paying less than the initial asking price which allows you to deduct the greediness and bad intention coming out from the manager : THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL, UNKIND AND UNFAIR. If you have a crisis in your restaurant learn how to deal with it without passing the inconvenience and operational costs to the customers. As I said before this is DISRESPECTFUL AND NOT PROFESSIONAL.
I truly appreciate the reader for having the time to read this lengthy review and it is my wish to help prospective customers to avoid the same situation we lived through. We have spent a good amount of time in Fuerteventura and I can happily agree there are other places where you get better food, better customer service and moreover, you don’t get disrespected and cheated by a...

As if the delicious food wasn’t enough, the ambiance is enhanced by the charming music of the Gipsy Kings playing in the background, adding to the authentically Spanish experience. This place captures the heart and soul of Spain beautifully. ❤️

We were there with our little one (13 months old) and they were immediately accommodating with us in this small place which is located in one of the little lanes. They have nice homely tables in a colourfully decorated place, away from the tourist trap in the sea front and nice and cool in the dining area, the place to sit in, like the locals do. You can hear them cooking their dishes from scratch with fresh ingredients.. we ordered some white wine and a some tapas including croquettas and empanadas. When the friendly staff came over with th dishes, they mentioned about their special dish, the empanadas which had won an award locally and they had been invited to participate with, in the nationals. Incredibly tasty, and in fact the best Empanadas I have tried to date.. so there it is, you must visit this place if you want to enjoy fresh produce dishes and this...
