Restaurante Los Paragüitas — Restaurant in Puerto del Rosario

The restaurant was filled to the brim and we came as a group of four, after a short waiting time (luck) we got a table. Staff was okay, they had much to do. But to be honest the food was just so average. It looks pretty good but there is no better word to describe it than "bland".

Here is the breakdown Good: Big portion size Reasonable prices (especially compared to other restaurants on the Island) Nice location Super quick, food came in 5 minutes (but maybe not even a plus) Bad: taste was not great, almost no sauce, everything dry or rubbery toilets are some of the worst I have ever seen menu is super old, most prices were not readable and the english and german translation is so so bad (but very funny) Cockroach on the ground (came from the street but the staff was too busy to notice it even though multiple people were disturbed)

I would not recommend this Restaurant to a friend, but I would maybe come again because of the prices and Portion size. If it was not for the terrible toilets I would have rated the restaurant an...

Lovely fresh and authentic local food. Full of locals, rather than tourists, that tells a lot. Very reasonably priced for the quality. Not a fancy place, looks more like a cafe, but to us that was irrelevant given the food experience. Note that the name of the place is not visible so you can of need to guess the location, which is under some tall umbrellas. Calamares were amazing, not those frozen ones you find in some restaurants, these were actual calamari. Goat stew was so soft and tasty. Fish fillet also marvellous. Highly recommended if you are up for good food and a chill, not fancy...

Not sure how past reviewers looked around, but, on my sitting at rear/corner cafe, impression I wouldn't say was especially clean, but acceptable! Appears to attract more locals, workers, for quick food and drink stops, so average. I asked for seafood mix, but had none, so chose goats stew. Very disappointed, also not like any of past review pics. .. As mine MAINLY consisted of lots of large knuckle/bones/splinters. Def would not return.
