Namaste Bharat Indian Restaurant en Rota.
I am always one to give credit where credit is due and this is not any different.
I’ve just has the absolute pleasure to enjoy the food at this restaurant.
Being in from the uk, since the age of 4/5 my parents took me for Indian meals back in the uk wherever we lived, once maybe twice a week, so I like to think I know my way round an Indian or two.
Even joint owning a restaurant for 2 years here as well, and with who I thought was by far the best in the area before we sold and closed up.
I’ve been to Brick lane in London, the curry mile in Manchester, Birmingham alike, not to mention the numerous Indian restaurants around different areas across Europe.
I’ve now tasted what I believe to be the best Indian cuisine I have ever tasted in my life.
May be a big statement but honestly, I’ve been blown away by the food I ordered today.
A prawn puri starter and a tandoori mixed grill for main. I didn’t order no rice or bread as I wanted to enjoy what I had ordered and always my go to when trying somewhere new.
The owners are a family of 2 brothers and their dad (the head chef) and from the moment you set in the door to the moment you leave; they treat you with the best customer service and the food is literally off the chart.
I’ll challenge any of you to try it and tell me different, in fact, I’d go as far to say, if your disappointed instead of eating my own hat, I’ll pay for what you ordered! That’s how confident I am of this being your best Indian experience outside of India.
Go and give it a...
Read moreWe had such satisfied Indian meal here in southern part of Spain. This is the first Indian restaurant which served a very authentic Indian meal compared to Granada and Tarifa where we had stays in past few days. The food was too good. The spicy achar which comes along with the papadam should definitely not be missed. We had Paneer Butter Madala and Dal Tadka, with Aloo paratha and rice. It was best catered to our spice levels since we had a kid with us. If you like more spicy food definitely you can ask them to top it up a notch. It’s amendable to your taste. They also have a very vast range of vegetarian options too. This restaurant definitely should not be missed if you are travelling in the southern part of Spain. We took a detour to Rota to eat at this place enroute to Sevilla from Tarifa. It was all worth the time for us. Many thanks to such hospitality towards us. Would love to visit again if we travel to...
Read moreI sat outside and ordered 2 apps for my late lunch, and chicken Vindaloo and cheese naan for later. The waiter was friendly and very attentive, and brought my slightly unusual order EXACTLY as I had asked (I have never had that multi-meal plan work quite right for me before...)
The portions were so generous that I got more meals out of it than I'd planned, and they weren't stingy at all with the chutneys, immediately offering more when I ran out of one. That Vindaloo, though: sooooo tasty. I don't think I've ever had a vindaloo that flavorful and still exactly spicy enough to be called a vindaloo. The cheese naan was also really delicious, even after reheating it in a frying pan.
I really appreciate their large selection of vegan/vegetarian...
