Zen — Restaurant in Rota

Very consistent. I get friendly service every time I come here. The food is pretty good, and they're open every time I show up, so I assume they are open all day (which is a super plus in a town that siestas). However, in Rota, I dont order stuff that I usually eat at chinese places in america, so it took a while to get down parts of the menu that I really love. I haven't heard good things about their orange chicken, but I cant say that I've had it. I do love their almond chicken, and their dim sum options. They have a large menu so I'm always trying new things. Had the Thai fried rice today and it was DELICIOUS. :) I come back every time...

I do not understand who thinks this restaurant has good food. This is by far the worst sushi I ever tried. The worst costumer service. The owner/waiter was super rude. I want to change something on my order and he got mad. I let it pass by when I went to pay he screamed over the phone to someone placing an order. I politely ask him how can he be so rude to costumers. He said that he was very busy (not true) and I responded, sir, that is not excuse. It is sad that people leave these wonderful reviews leading others to make the wrong decision by coming in. I will never go back even if my life depends on it. Do yourself a favor and go...

This will be our go-to place for Chinese in the future. We had sizzling chicken, sizzling beef, chicken fried rice, and pork buns (empty container top left). When you call-in your order that ask how spicy you want it, first time that has happened over here and it was a great surprise. Only thing I would do different next time is ask for a side of rice.
