This has been one of our favourite restaurants on Port Soller for many years. They are always incredibly accommodating, even for our often large group at fairly short notice (it is always busy). It is a stunning setting- right by the sea but they also are very accommodating to families with children too. It is sophisticated and simplistic ins style so encourages families to keep kids under control so other diners are not bothered (they can wander down and hang out just in front of you to the wall by the beach so fine for they to have a little play in safety while you relax too!). The menu is sublime. I am vegetarian and there is so much I can have, with dishes so tempting even the meat/fish eaters order a lot of the veggie dishes. The bread with two dips they bring out- 1 a black olive tapenade and a green herby dip are delicious. The starter of the aubergine tartare was both beautiful and delicious. The main of spaghetti with truffle is so so delicious ( only wish the portions were a little bigger) and the truffle fries delicious too. Service is attentive and friendly. Don’t recommend even if the food is fine. We were waiting about 20 minutes to order. OK,it was full so understandable. But then, when we already ordered, waiter asked if we want some bread. We said no thanks, but he gave us 2 portions: 3 bread slices and 2 dips. Well we were surprised but thought that maybe it’s a starter as in many other places - you get something for free while waiting for the order. It was NOT ☺️ it costed 5 euro per 1 portion, so 1. We had to pay extra 10 euro for it 2. We had to pay extra 10 euro for it even if we didn’t order it AND because we somehow got 2 portions (which we never asked for!). So, really, there are manyyy other places where you are not treated as an idiot and will want to come back. The staff and the views are unmatched. Fancy place to take the one you love. Very romantic. The staff - they listen! There were 4 in our party for dinner and we sat outside - seaside. One of the party said to her husband that she was a little cool. This was not said to a waitress, but one of the staff simply overheard her and returned with 4 blankets for the table! That, my friends, is attention to detail in service! They have an unusual menu - high end. The food comes in portions you'd expect. Unfortunately, as stunningly beautiful as the servings were, the chef missed the critical detail of seasoning. Ask for salt and pepper and you'll be fine.
