We have stayed with Pep and Catherine 3 times already and love it every single time. Port de Soller is a delightful small place, but what makes it fantastic is the apartment. It is large, with enough places to have many friends to dine if you want, or just space for everyone to have their own peace. We particularly love the second balcony, with the view over the bay and a cooling breeze, for our post-children's bedtime glass of wine. The beds are very comfortable, towels and beach towels provided and as well as a welcome spread of fine meats, cheese, wine, tea, coffee, fresh oranges, bread and butter we get a supermarket order delivered (the nearest large supermarket is in Soller) which our lovely hosts have ready in the fridge/freezer/larder for us on our arrival. While they are near if you need them, you have great privacy (their apartment is set back in the hillside above this one, but not directly over it).
It is a 5 minute walk up a - at times steep - road from the beach, and this makes it calmer than being on the seafront. Our 4-year old manages the walk happily. Having stayed in two other properties nearer to the beach in Port de Soller, we'll stick with this...
