Restaurante Japonés - RIKKA — Restaurant in Salamanca

The worst food and service I've ever had in my life. I'd not give any stars if I could. This restaurant is only good at over-cooking the food and passing the duck.

Three of us waited for almost 2 hours for 5 dishes and in the end one of the dishes didn't come. We ordered 2 noodles, 1 rice, 2 side dishes, and waited 30 mins for the first side dish, another 20 for the first noodle, another 15 for the second noodle, and another 20 for the rice, and the other side didn't come. It was because the owner gave our dish to another table and he didn't realised until we asked. What was more unbearable was he insisted we didn't order it after he realised we did. he said I quote"Oh I gave it to another table but they didn't let me know" When we told him that i didn't want the dish that he gave to another table, he said" if you got something urgent, you should let me know at the beginning" I mean.. we arrived at 1:10pm and we have an appointment at 3pm. Plus, when we arrived there was no one in the restaurant. When we arrived the owner told us there were ppl from health bureau, so it would take him longer. The ppl from health bureau left around 1:30pm and there were only 3 tables. I don't think we need apology for no knowing longer means 2 hours in this restaurant.

All dishes that we ordered were over-cooked. The noodles were over-cooked but eatable. As we were starving we ate it. However, for the rice, it wasn't. We ordered one Teriyaki Chicken Rice. The teriyaki source contains lots of sugar, and when it comes as over-cooked, it turns BITTER. We tried to tell the owner that it is uneatable, but he was in the kitchen all the time with the door shut. We stood up and called him but he didn't give any responds. Don't be surprised, there was only one staff in the restaurant. Finally when we got a chance to tell him it was over-cooked, he commented" oh, it was a little bit over-cooked". After we insisted it was uneatable lever over-cooked, he just ignored us.

Apparently, the owner thinks he's not responsible for anything. According to him, it was the other table's responsibility that we didn't get the dish that we ordered. because they should have tell him. it was our responsibility that we waited for 2 hours and didn't get the food. And It was I don't know whose responsibility that the food were over-cooked. but it was...

Es un lugar tranquilo, con una iluminación relajante que genera un ambiente acogedor y el local y baños están limpios. La carta tiene platos de origen chino, otros son japoneses y coreanos. El camarero fue amable pero no son nada flexibles ante los pequeños cambios como pedir la salsa picante a parte, nos dijo que no (un no rotundo). Las CANTIDADES son escasas para el precio que tiene. Según los platos que hemos probado: 1. "Panceta picante estilo coreano" la cantidad es ridícula. No hay lechuga, debería ser cortada más gruesa y poner algo de kimchi. 2. "Bao pollo teriyaki" es maravilloso, un sabor excelente. 3. "Bao pollo al curry" no nos ha gustado, muy líquido, no pega dentro de un bao. Sobraba salsa curry. Se puede hacer mejor. 4. "Bibimbab" tiene muchos fallos porque faltaba aceite de sésamo tostado, las verduras no eran frescas, casi no había proteína (carne) y el gochujang parecía diluido cuando es mucho más pastoso, picante y dulce. 5. "Yakisoba" muy poca cantidad y de sabor bueno pero casi no tenía proteina-carne. La variedad de cervezas orientales es muy buena. Si cuidaran más algunos detalles sería un restaurante para volver pero así, desde luego, no. Puede servir como aproximación a la comida oriental pero si conoces la gastronomía de estos países (China, Corea y Japón) te vas a llevar...

Aunque no era la primera vez que íbamos a cenar o a comer a este restaurante y sabiendo que el servicio siempre ha sido muy lento, hoy nos hemos llevado una muy mala experiencia que vemos que más gente ha tenido. Cuando hemos llegado nos ha llamado la atención que estaba todo patas arriba, con el servicio de comidas sin recoger y el suelo pegajoso. Hemos decidido quedarnos, ya que en otras ocasiones la comida estaba rica y nos apetecía ramen. Después de pedir, ha ido llegando la comida y habíamos pedido edamame. Después de no servirlo, al preguntarle nos ha dicho que no había de muy malas maneras. Aunque nos había dicho que podía no haber, no nos ha avisado antes ( por si queríamos pr ejemplo añadir algo más). El ramen de pollo salado, el de miso sin más, las gyozas vegetales muy ricas y el pan bao teriyaki muy rico. El pan bao vegetariano incomestible ( mal aspecto, se rompía y excesivamente picante). Lo más llamativo es lo desagradable que ha sido y lo estresado que está, no prestando ninguna atención a nada (faltaban cucharas, platos a destiempo...). Cuando hemos querido hablar con él, no quería escuchar y se intentaba ir. Muy desagradable, no volveremos más. Hay otros sitios de ramen ahora mismo en Salamanca que valen la pena mucho más que este en relación calidad, sobre todo...
