Buffet La Palapa — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The buffet dining here is as part of an all inclusive at the Barcelo Margarita Royal Level.

Dining Experience: Breakfast: Lebanese toast was a highlight and the omelette was dry and overcooked. The fruits were good, the coffee average, the hot breakfast items average and the desert was very repetitive for lunch and dinner. However,the pigeons eating leftovers around the tables was significant issues and they need to clear dishes off tables quicker!

Lunch- too similar to dinner with food options bar the lack of sushi and entrecôte. The desert was very similar to breakfast!

Dinner: The food was average. Sushi was below par with too much rice, overcooked meat, and dry food at the hot pot station. The entrecôte on one occasion was good and then two other occasions inedible as rubbery, over done. Desserts were acceptable but very repetitive to breakfast and lunch.

Drinks Quality: The quality of drinks overall was disappointing. Wines were below average, the cava was undrinkable, and the base alcohol for cocktails was below average. The margarita was overly sweet, and the coconut in the pina colada tasted artificial. The Manhattan and Spanish brandy (Lapanto) were the only redeeming choices.

Overall, while some aspects were enjoyable, but generally below par to food we usually eat on holiday or at home and therefore would have preferred quality...

The restaurant experience was disappointing. The staff was rude and unprofessional, adding unnecessary stress to our meals. To make matters worse, a hair was found in my latte macchiato, which was unacceptable. The food and beverage quality was subpar, with items that appeared old and stale. On top of that, the menu lacked variety and featured the same...

Wij waren all inclusive. Bij iedere maaltijd is meegedacht en waren er verschillende opties, vers uit de glutenvrije keuken, waar ik uit mocht kiezen.
