We were fortunate to dine at La Colmena, an experience that stood out even among the many culinary destinations we have explored globally. The restaurant’s striking all-white interior and gallery-like atmosphere may feel intimidating at first, but stepping into this space is richly rewarded. That said, we ended up gladly spending significantly more, given the exceptional standard of both the cuisine and the overall experience. I found this place almost by chance by a recommendation of the hotel where I was staying....and I end up having the best night show ever and best food in my entire week of stay in Canarias. These people not only have the best food (Calamaris and Carrillera were both the best preparation I have ever taste) but also the best flamenco art in the island. Authentic small familiar business where the cooker dance, the waiters sings and everything feels like family. And they are all so lovely and welcoming. We took our family here for lunch (boys 5yr & 8yr) The place was amazing, with the food being superb and the decor beautiful. We enjoyed our experience so much we booked a table to return a few nights later where they had a live singer (who had a great voice!)

Highly recommend the Iberian assortment meat plate, the various croquettes, the mojo potatoes and the grilled cheese with jam! The french fries were to die for too! Left stuffed and all for only 60€ for the 4 of us!
