⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CIBARIVM - A Culinary Journey Beyond Compare

From the moment you step through CIBARIVM's doors, you're transported into a realm where gastronomy transcends mere sustenance to become an art form. This isn't just dinner – it's a masterclass in culinary innovation and hospitality excellence.

Chef's innovative approach to dining begins with an unconventional ordering experience that sets the tone for what's to follow. Each course that emerges from the kitchen is a carefully orchestrated symphony of flavors, where traditional techniques meet unbridled creativity. The kitchen team demonstrates an extraordinary ability to push boundaries while maintaining perfect balance – a rare feat that distinguishes the truly exceptional from the merely excellent.

The front-of-house team elevates the experience further, displaying an intuitive understanding of hospitality that makes you feel less like a guest and more like an honored friend. Their knowledge of each dish is encyclopedic, their timing impeccable, and their attention to detail absolute.

What truly sets CIBARIVM apart is its ability to marry complexity with restraint. Each plate showcases technical virtuosity while remaining grounded in pure, clean flavors. This is high gastronomy without pretension – where simplicity and refinement coexist in perfect harmony.

Having dined at numerous acclaimed establishments worldwide, I can confidently say that CIBARIVM ranks among the most impressive. The experience lingers in your mind long after the last bite, creating an immediate desire to return. This is more than Michelin-star quality dining; it's a gastronomic journey that sets a new standard for excellence.

A word of advice: Don't miss this. Book now,...

One word reaction: extraordinary

We ordered beef tartar - which was one of the specials for that day - the bao buns, lamb chops (also a special) and salmon ("from the sea"). We asked for a recommendation for the wine, which should suit the lamb and the salmon. We got a 10/10 suggestion. It suited perfectly and tasted really delicious!

Our starters delivered what was promised by the 5 out of 5 stars rating. The beef tartare was cut by hand (as it should be) and seasoned really well. The bao bun with the pulled pork also tasted very flavourful and delicious. For both, we would give a 5 out of 5. At that point we were really looking forward to the main menu. The lamb was perfectly cooked. Tender, juicy, a nice flavour - all in all perfection. Couldn’t be better. The salmon was also on point. Juicy and tender, a rich flavour and well seasoned. At that point, it was clear: this is one of the best, if not the best restaurant on this island. As dessert, we ordered "lollipop pistachio" and "chef's dulcerie" (which were homemade biscuits filled with almonds and hazelnuts together with Marsala). Both - again - tasted really, really good. Every meal was beautifully presented.

The staff is very friendly, professional and attentive. The atmosphere and concept of the restaurant is great.

Both of us highly appreciate top-quality restaurants, and now we found one more.

Thank you very much for this great evening, and see...

We were staying at the Paradisus hotel, down the road and decided we wanted to venture out for dinner. We often enjoy Michelin star restaurants but were not expecting the same standard,of course. We found this restaurant online and it appeared to have excellent reviews. Booking online was easy and the resturant very quickly responded by email, to confirm our booking.

When first arriving at the resturant I was a bit anxious due to its location but soon found that there was no need for hesitation. The wait staff were very friendly, animated and passionate about their establishment. They accommodated my dietary needs, due to being pregnant and were very attentive.

To our surprise, the food and service were on par to many Michelin star establishments, we have frequented before. Each course was superb and the wait staff explained the idea and ingredients of each dish. Every mouthful was just sheer joy!

The prices were extremely reasonable and we were actually very surprised at how low our bill was. Especially as my partner enjoyed a few glasses of wine, which was equally exquisite.

The waiter also provided a digestive at the end of our meal and this included a nonalcoholic one for myself.

I would highly recommend this resturant and many of my friends know, I am extremely picky and hard to please.

I really hope this resturant continues to succeed and if we ever visit Gran Canaria again, we will certainly...

If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat feast, this isn’t the place for you. This is fine dining at its best—elegant yet relaxed, with no need for formal dress. From the moment we arrived, our host, Emiliano, provided an exceptional experience. His descriptions of the menu were engaging and insightful, guiding us through our choices with expertise and enthusiasm. The entire experience lasted around three hours, but every moment was worth it. We started with the stuffed onion, a dish highly recommended by other diners—and it did not disappoint. This was followed by a perfectly cooked risotto and then lamb, each plate beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The dessert rounded off the meal perfectly. Emiliano’s wine recommendation was spot-on, and the locally sourced craft blonde beer, served in an ice bucket, was outstanding. The setting was warm and intimate, and the service was professional, theatrical, and respectful of our space. Having dined in top restaurants in Edinburgh, Paris, and Mexico, I can confidently say this was a genuine five-star experience. The quality of ingredients and the level of service made the cost more than reasonable. A truly memorable meal—thank you!

If I could give Cibarivm more than 5 stars I would! My husband, baby and I were in Gran Canaria for 7 nights and we dined here for 4 nights - we went to some other nice places but none could compare to this one. The food, the presentation, the wine, the ambience and the service - everything was amazing. The chef who is from the south of Italy is a genius with flavours and weaves her magic by putting together some unique combinations - beef pastrami with raspberry was inspired and the octopus with watermelon was a revelation. Each dish was unique and delicious and we kept coming back to try everything on their menu. The ingredients are locally sourced and are of very high quality as is the carefully curated wine list with some fabulous local wines. We came to this restaurant with our infant and were so touched by their warm hospitality towards us. The attention to detail to every element - food, service and decor was outstanding. Cibarivm was definitely the highlight of our trip and we do hope to go back there again. Thank you Cibarivm for making our trip to Gran Canaria so special and memorable 💖

We were lucky to get a table for New Year’s Eve on short notice since our hotel didn’t offer a special occasion for that day. We were welcomed very friendly. The reservation was done via Whatsapp which is very convenient and they replied very quickly including the menu and that it would start at 9pm. The chef offered 4 courses (see pictures) including a prosecco, water & coffee, service was very friendly, perfectly multilingual and attentive. Food was delicious, we’d easily rate it the best restaurant in San Augustin. The only thing we’d have wished for is to get the chance to have a apéro until 9pm. Make sure you have a reservation, there is indoor- and outdoorseating (with wind protection) available. Overall amazing experience and thank you again for the warm hospitality.
