Nice beach in San Agustin right on the promenade. Not many choices for sand beaches on Gran Canaria. Sand is dark with a fine powder that the wind will carry when it gets windy. Parasols and loungers for rent. Rate was 9,50 Euro in February 2025, which is really fair compared to, for example, Mallorca. Attendant will put up sand barrier on windy days to help with blowing sand. Water is clear with sandy bottom. Surf school sometimes here for beginners. Very convenient to the resort we stayed (Corallium Beach).

Very windy, water quality wasn't the best. Lots of steep steps to access from the North approach that are not in the best shape. A few funky swear smells along the walkway and again from time to time when on the beach. Nice outdoor shower area at the end of the wooden walkway however it is not very private feeling as the cafe just across seats people like the showers are a theatre. No visible signage indicating where to find public toilets nearby which may explain the so e of the smells.

Great beach, maybe not the best for children (strong waves) but great for adults - fighting with those waves gives a lot of fun. Water is really warm compared to, i.e. Amadores plus there is a free toilet available. Not many people, mainly locals. Highly recommended.

Stunning beach. Recommended to us by hotel staff and locals always know best. Ample parking but the toilet in the public free car park is awful and stinks. It claims too self clean its self but that’s literally crap as it’s a standard toilet & stinks as no air in the unit😷. Only use in an emergency and take your own loo roll as there’s...
