Every dish I ordered was bursting with authentic flavours and fresh ingredients. From the aromatic Tom Yum soup to the mouthwatering Pad Thai, each bite was a delightful explosion of Thai goodness. The presentation of the dishes was equally impressive, as they were beautifully garnished, reflecting the attention to detail that went into their preparation. Trust me; you won't leave disappointed!
Another highlight of dining at Sa.wad.dee is the affordability of their drink selection. They offer a wide array of beverages, including refreshing cocktails and traditional Thai drinks, all at reasonable prices. It was wonderful to relax and enjoy my meal with a perfectly paired drink while not having to worry about my wallet.
The ambience of the restaurant was also worth mentioning. The lively background music created an upbeat atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. I found myself swaying to the melodies as I savoured my meal. It's evident that the owner knew how to create an enjoyable and entertaining environment for their guests.
Lastly, I must commend the staff at Sa.wad.dee Thai Restaurant for their exceptional service. The waitstaff were not only friendly but also attentive, making sure that every need was met. They went above and beyond to provide recommendations and accommodate dietary preferences, a testament to their professionalism and genuine hospitality.

So, step into Sa.wad.dee, indulge in theflavourss of Thailand, and let your senses take you on a delightful journey. You won't be disappointed!

Read moreFew weeks ago, we booked a table there for a surprise's Birthday for our soldier friend who came back after working abroad for a while. We thought everything was okay because we booked enough days before the date to sort it out. We received the confirmation email and everything was alright. That night, we arrived there and the waiter said there wasn't any booking for us. Nobody called us, nobody sent us an e-mail, absolutely nothing. Once we claimed the waiter started to tell excuses and lies to justify that big mistake. He was changing what happened all the time one of us asked to him. He even showed us the mail box and we saw how others reservations taken after our reservation for that date were confirmed. I might understand that everybody can fail, but he didn't try to sort it out, he didn't offer as a solution to the problem they made of course. He just said sorry and invited us to go because the place was full. Obviously they ruined our surprise because after trying to solve this for over an hour, our friend was coming and catched us there. Honestly we couldn't even try the food but the experience was awful. This waiter ruined our night and didn't even tried to sort out the situation or offer an solution. He just told lies all the time. What a mess. After this awful experience, we were there out in the street and nowhere to go at that time. Walking next to beach, we found out a restaurant called "El capitán" and thankfully they sorted out our night, with a great food, a great service, funny jokes and a surprise from waiters and waitress to the Birthday's man. It's pretty clear here who are the professional ones, who took new clients who will come back and who lost new...
Read moreThe place looks cute but sadly the food wasn't on a par with anything served in Thailand or at a decent UK Thai restaurant.
We ordered the vegan tofu satay to share which was okay (although the crispy tofu wasn't freshly cooked but had been reheated).
Our two mains were two tofu massaman curries made vegan-friendly (state no fish sauce!). Mine was very small and we were both missing the green beans, bamboo and courgette mentioned on the menu. We mentioned this to our server who explained the menu was wrong and she'd let the manager know to update it as their massaman is just potato and onion...so we said yes that's good for the future but what about our small and almost vegetable-free curry? So about 5 minutes later she brought out some green beans and courgettes but by this point I'd finished my meal and my husband had eaten most of his. I appreciate they tried to make good but even with the vegetables the portion was small for €13 each. I'm also afraid to say the curry sauce was bland with no herb, spice or sour lime flavour. It was basically coconut milk with a pinch of paprika.
Having been to South East Asia on many occasions and visited great Thai restaurants in the UK (and most recently just last week in Tenerife) this wasn't up to the usual standard.
One word on the cocktails - they are expensive: €7.50 and up. Mine was very, very strong, so that's good if you like the taste of booze rather than the mix of flavours, but personally I'd have preferred a cheaper cocktail with less booze to enjoy with a meal.
I wouldn't return but perhaps those with less experience of Thai food and small appetites may find...
