On our arrival we were greeted with friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the waitress was great and really attentive. The wine and food are very reasonably priced, my partner ordered a pizza and said it was the best pizza he ever had! However, something went terribly wrong with my carbonara, after hearing positive reviews I was excited to try it as it’s probably my favourite dish. Pasta wasn’t al dente, it was slightly undercooked and chewy/hard. Instead of creamy sauce I got scrambled egg mixed in, no flavour, no black pepper. I tried to eat it, purely because I hate wasting food but the taste was just off and I couldn’t manage more than a forkful. Looked nothing like on the picture somebody posted previously. Fantastic Italian dinner! The bocconcini di baccalà were extraordinary — soft, delicate, and full of flavor. For my main course, I had the fish of the day, which luckily was a fillet of cernia, served with grilled vegetables and potatoes — absolutely superb. I also tried my girlfriend’s linguine allo scoglio, and they were outstanding.

This is a great elegant- casual Italian restaurant. We had the octopus on pumpkin purée which was tender and perfectly grilled. The purée added a great sweet foil. Also had the Iberian pork and mushroom cannelloni. A nice Spanish twist on an Italian classic. The pork (cheeks?) had a slight crispy texture and melted in your mouth.
