The faro 2 shopping centre has collapsed from the Spanish recession. They planned to renovate the whole shopping area. The shops had to move whilst the work was going to be done but they didn't want to return so the shopping centre just shut down. This is a massive shame as a few years ago the place was packed and you struggled to get a seat. There is only a few shops left open. The supermarket has great choice of products and at a reasonable price. If you want a great place to eat with friendly staff then I would highly recommend toro piedra. Read moreI visited this shopping centre for the first time in 11 years yesterday, and I was incredibly sad to see it in its current state, as others have said, it's pretty much abandoned with only a few bars and restaurants left open. This used to be my favourite place, as when we came on holiday when I was young, this place used to be full of life, we would go there every night, visit all the bars, there was a big arcade and was loads of attractions set up around it. Read moreSupermarket and some restaurants. Very run down and I have concerns about the overall safety of the building. I am absolutely sure the restaurants are worth visiting, but not for me. The supermarket is well stocked and worth a visit for food and drink, however it is not the cleanest - having seen flies inside wrapped packaging of fresh produce. Some fresh stock is not of the best quality - which is perfectly normal for an island store. If the building looked safe and more businesses were occupied here, it would be worth a visit.
