Asked for tapas selection which wasn’t even on menu and it was unbelievable, platter for two best tapas we had during holiday, had steak second time we went and it was spot on. As most of bad reviews for this place consist of funny tummies I would like to point out I lived in GC and all tourist get funny tummy and blame the food, No the free self service drink machine in your skanky hotel the ice they put in your drink, your swimming in a pool everyday with hundreds of others sharing dinner halls and toilets but oh no it’s the food. The beef wellington was even better than my mum's! (Don't tell her).

Since living in gran canaria I've been craving some proper English food and this small little cafe on top of a hill definitely provided. Delicious food, great atmosphere, lovely owners (made us feel very welcomed).

Now apparently the beef wellington is a Saint George's Day special but the rest of the food looked just as delicious.

Las Lomas was a place that saved our poor, empty stomachs after a long trip. I had a really good sandwich with ham, cheese and egg. The other thing I can recommend is a baguette with beef, cheese and bacon, a bit like a burger but you get a slice of steak I guess. They have some great coffees to choose from, I highly recommend leche y leche. You can ask for decaf too :) Atmosphere and service...

Bestellt wurde ein Filet mit Salat und Pomme Frites 😉 das Ganze zum mitnehmen, die vielen positiven Kritiken hier ließen es mich probieren. Als der Koch anfing auf das Fleisch einzuklopfen wußte ich, es ist kein Filet 🤣 ok, es war eßbar aber der Salat war teilweise vergammelt, alles lieblos ohne proffesion hergerichtet, Pommes pappig, "Filet" nicht medium sondern trocken - offensichtlich verstehen weder der Koch noch die vielen positiven Bewerter etwas vom Essen 😜👎👎👎 Never again - Dauerraucher sitzen hier auch rum 🙄 I ordered a beef filet with salad and French fries 😉 the whole thing to take away, many positive reviews for this bar so i tried it. When the cook started to beat the meat, i was sitting on open window, I knew it was not a filet, ok at least it was eatable but the salad was partly rotten, everything carelessly prepared without proffesion, fries weak, "filet" not medium but dry - obviously understand neither the cook nor the many positive reviewers something about the food 😜👎👎👎 Never again - also permanent smokers sit around here 🙄
