Looks can be deceiving. At first glance the setting of this fantastic little Italian does not do much to impress - located a little way from the sea with no view to speak of, and in a small shopping centre. However, the food is incredible. We ate here 3 nights during our recent trip. I had gluten free pizza which was superb, not the usual cheap supermarket base you find elsewhere when 'gluten free' has been added as an afterthought, it was a proper tasting doughy base that was delicious. Normal pizza available too! We also had steaks, pasta dishes all of which were amazing. I used to write a lot of reviews but lost interest but this place deserves a special mention because it really was delicious. Table staff very friendly too. Well done to the...

Restaurant really doesn't reflect the photos online. It claims and looks to be a beautiful, ambient, gourmet Italian restaurant that can do all pizzas and pastas in gluten free as the food is all 'made fresh'. None of this is true. The restaurant is in a shopping mall, they sat us outside, where the walls are made of see through rubber and the shoppers can stare in at you while you eat. We were seated for 20 minutes without anyone offering water or a menu! When we finally did get the menu, they told me all I could order gluten free was the spaghetti or the gnochi. Definitely not 'all gluten free'! We walked out and went somewhere else due to the lack of choice and the...

Very good restaurant which is suitable for celiacs. I’m a celiac myself and this restaurant has one of the best gluten free pizza’s you can have. You pay €4 extra for the gluten free pizza, but in my opinion it’s worth it. They also serve gluten free pasta. My boyfriend had a normal pizza and told me it was very good. I would recommend this restaurant when you visit Gran Canaria. The restaurant is located in a shopping centre. We had some trouble finding the restaurant, but it is on the second floor (east side)!

Food was very disappointing. The sauce had no flavour (I'd put money on it being a store-bought sauce). The pasta was dry pasta - if I'm paying €15 for pasta, tomato sauce (fresh tomatoes and some flavour like garlic or fresh basil) and some (cheddar) cheese, I'd expect a fresh sauce and pasta. The nicest thing I can say about it was that it was edible. I would never go back.

This is not a review but just a note about your menu. I am going to visit San Agustin in a few weeks and decided to check out the restaurants. The reviews of Piccola Italia are interesting but the picture of a menu stating “degustazione di vaccini” was the tasting of vaccines shocked me! What? Cheese that tastes like medicine? I decide to track this down and the correct translation is more like “A tasting of cheese from cow, goat and sheep of different ageing. “ This is just for your information. I hope to stop by when I’m in San Agustin. ¡Me sorprendió!
