Don't expect a traditional Lebanese restaurant. Or else it could be "ok" in the taste of "some" food. The shawarma and kafta bel saniyé are done in Turkish style, it's good but not Lebanese. The hommos, taboulé and fatoush looks like it but definitely not tasting like one, missing essential and elementary ingredients like olive oil, some lemon and salt (I asked for it to make it taste better), the kebbé are not good and falafel was reheated. Don't take the sambousek cheese, not good at all and and they added mushrooms (hello??? Sambousek with mushrooms? Since when?), and not good at all anyways. When we asked, we were given some excuses that it should taste like what people like in the region. Knowing that 80% of customers would be tourists and know what to expect as taste, or else open a Mediterranean restaurant and not name it Lebanese. The bread was good but not Lebanese, loved it though. The service was very slow, we had to wait 20 minutes to be asked what to drink. Anyhow, I would not recommend it as a Lebanese restaurant but as a Mediterranean one. It was expensive for what we got. You have many other choices to spend well your money and enjoy the food. PS: the beer and coca cola were the only things that did not disappoint us. *** You can check my other comments, I'm extremely fair. When it's not good, it's not good.

⭐ 1/5 — Absolutely Horrible Experience I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Beirut Restaurant in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. We ordered a variety of dishes including mezas, shawarma, and cheese kebab. What we got was shockingly bad — everything was served ice cold, tasted stale and old, and was completely inedible. Shortly after trying a few bites, we both got serious stomach aches and had to stop eating immediately. But what made the experience even worse was the terrible behavior of the staff. They were extremely rude, completely unhelpful, and acted like we were a burden. When we tried to explain the situation, they refused to offer any replacement or compensation, even though we’re tourists and clearly hadn’t touched most of the food. Their attitude was aggressive, disrespectful, and frankly scary. I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated. To top it all off, we were forced to pay the full amount for the food we couldn’t eat. I left feeling sick, upset, and totally disrespected. This was not just bad service — it was a shocking display of hostility and negligence. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place. There are plenty of better restaurants in Maspalomas that actually value their customers and serve decent food. This was a complete disaster.

Skip this place. The food was mediocre. I doubt anything but the bread and the taboulé (parsley salad) was self made. The rice was lukewarm. The Food is served in old scratched plastic dishes. Which is a desaster in itself. In some of them there were burnt spots, in others the colouring was coming off. Doesn‘t feel like a restaurant even though the decoration is quite nice. Also the personnel is super friendly. But oh the hygiene. Outside we couldn’t sit because of the doves. They even entered the entrance area sometimes and there was dove excrement on the floor when we came and still when we left. The toilets were so dirty I couldn’t even go… Skip this place. Response to the owners answer: They were in the front porch and there was excrement, which nobody removed for over an hour.

I really don’t know where to begin and where to end. I was driving around in Maspalomas this evening and I suddenly saw a Lebanese restaurant. As a Lebanese I got exited and my wife and I decided right away to dine and have a shisha there. Let me say it right away, if you are looking for a Lebanese cuisine, this is NOT the place. We couldn’t recognize the food we ordered. Usually a mixed grilled platter consists of lamb, taouk (chicken) and kafta. The lamb wasn’t there and in stead there was some kind of pseudo shawarma-look-alike that tasted awful. The kafta which is usually minced lamb meat with chopped onions, chopped parsley and it comes sizzling and juicy, was replaced by a gnome shush with dry and burnt minced meat. The taouk came on the same type gnome-shish; two pieces and I stopped eating after the first bite. The French fries were sloppy and oily. The fattouch; a hardcore Lebanese salat with pieces of fried flatbread mixed with pomegranate syrup and olive oil was as flat as the bread and tasteless. The lamb-shawarma dish looked like anything but Lebanese shawarma. It smelled bad and my wife was about to throw up after the first mini-bite and she left it as is. We were really chocked over the mediocrity of the food. When the waiter came and collected the plates, he didn’t bother to ask if we were satisfied with the food even though he clearly could see the plates still were full. Now to the shishas! Again and from the end, we have never had such bad pipes. They could rip your touncils out so easily. We addressed it to the waiter but he didn’t seem to have a problem with that as long as the pipe gave smoke regardless of how much pressure you had to put into the process of smoking it. The bill was 92 EUROS! We spent around 50 minutes with this atrocity, put 100 euros and left. This was our worst restaurant experience ever. It saddens me that this joint has a predicate of Lebanese restaurant when it is not and when whatever food they are serving is so mediocre. A word of advice, just...

We have previously visited Beirut Restaurant in Maspalomas and had an amazing experience, which is why we made a special effort to return this time. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment from start to finish.

We were seated straight away and had our order taken promptly — so far, so good. We ordered a litre of champagne sangria and the Lebanese meat mezze platter. However, it quickly went downhill. The sangria took around 20 minutes to arrive, and it only did so after we reminded them — they had clearly forgotten about it. When it finally arrived, it was a bright fluorescent green, looking (and tasting) more like radioactive syrup than anything remotely close to champagne sangria. It was sickly sweet, had no trace of champagne flavour, and was filled with tinned strawberries. If you’re expecting a proper sangria, this is not it.

As for the food — we waited another 35 minutes, and what arrived was not what we had expected. The platter came out cold, dry, and honestly just dreadful. It also arrived without the advertised meat skewers. After we’d forced ourselves to eat what we could, the meat skewers then arrived — far too late. While the taste was okay, they were still cold… and to top it off, we found a live ant inside one of the lamb skewers. That was when we decided enough was enough.

We asked for the bill, stunned that all of this cost us €75. We couldn’t pay by card, as the machine was apparently broken, so we left €80 in cash. The male waiter swiftly took it and never returned with our €5 change — a final disappointing touch to a truly poor experience.

We left feeling completely let down, especially considering how good this place once was. We won’t be returning — sadly, it’s not what it used to be. Save your time (and your appetite) and...

Lets start with the positives: The food was indeed really good. We had the meal for two. Our first impression on the service was short and a little bit unfriendly. However, they are not unfriendly at all! The waiters English is not on par for tourists which seems a bit harsh now and then but their intention is good. They want the best experience for their customers! Viktor and the young man behind the bar, you made our night! Thank you!

The negative: We believe it was the manager but we are not sure, who made fun of a customer. The customer asked what the Lebanese spices are and taste like. The manager handled this situation poorly and laughed at the question on which he turned around and walked away. As a food enthousiast and ex hospitality managementemployee I felt inclined to step in but didn't. In general, we believe that this man who was smoking shisha constantly should not be part of the personnel. Unless he changes his attitude towards customers.

Last, the power outage. There was approximately 30 min a constant going on and off of lights and machines. It was was a humoristic sight to behold but eventually it started to annoy the customers.

We would recommend everyone to try the Lebanese food here!

Food: 4 stars Service: at first 2 stars later on 4 stars Accommodation: 3 stars (Assumed) Manager: 1 star

Kind regards, Remco...
