Steak House Toro — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

From looking at the reviews, we were expecting better. The burger I had was undercooked (it was more pink than I would have expected and felt mushy inside - no attempt was made to ask whether it was wanted well done or not). The fries were great and tasted like they had been cooked with fresh oil. My friend had nachos with cheese and chicken, and a beef and chicken burrito. He says the nachos were more like tortilla crisps with melted cheese rather than the usually expected guacamole, salsa & sour cream. The burritos were alright but, were not worth the price paid (€15.95). An apology was made by the waiter I had called over to tell about the burger, but it was hardly heartfelt. The worst thing about the whole experience was that there was also no attempt to reduce the price of the burger meal (even though it was really their error). I will be honest, they did offer another more well done burger before we paid up but by this point, I was entirely put off from having another one. A free alcoholic shot for each of us was offered upon receiving the bill but from what we gather, this is a usual thing here when people have finished their meal anyway. My friend had visited the toilet during the meal and there were only two sheets of paper left - surely this could have been avoided easily by routine checking every so often by any member of staff. They were not very busy as we arrived so, it could have been done whilst waiting for customers. As a culmination of the above, we were both highly disappointed and already decided we will not...

Underbar plats för den som vill njuta av god mat, dryck i lugn miljö. Ingen trafik, inga bilar, bara promenad stråk längs med bar o restaurangen. Bra val av musik kanal. Maten helt underbart god o inte allt för dyr. Trevlig personal.

Wonderful place for those who want to enjoy good food and drink in peaceful surroundings. No traffic, no cars, just a promenade along the bar o restaurant. Good choice of music channel. The food absolutely wonderful good o not too expensive. Friendly staff. Nice personal.

No hay tráfico, no hay coches, sólo un paseo a lo largo del bar o restaurante. Buena opción de canal de música. La comida absolutamente maravilloso bueno no demasiado caro....

Hassan is such a lovely genuine caring guy. He looks after me very well, I’m autistic and struggle in public places but he made me feel so welcome and comfortable here! 👏 Food is excellent and it’s so relaxed and friendly.

Hassan is so awesome, not just with me but just watching how he is with other customers is amazing.

Highly recommended if you like good food and awesome service!!

Unfortunately went back on a separate visit and had a different waiter.

I felt rushed and ignored and really uncomfortable. I’m a soIo diner and was treated differently to the couples and groups like I was unimportant. I had to leave early I felt so bad 😔

Still leaving 5stars because of Hassan.

I wish everybody had compassion and kindness like Hassan but unfortunately they don’t so it’s the man who makes...
