I'm specifically reviewing the driving range at this golf facility, and on the whole, it provides a satisfactory experience. For the price of 2€, you get a decent-sized bucket of 30-35 balls, making it an affordable option for golf practice.
The driving range is impressively well-maintained, ensuring a clean and pleasant atmosphere for practicing your swings. However, a notable drawback is the absence of lighting at night, making it challenging to track the trajectory of the balls. This limitation could impact the overall effectiveness of evening practice sessions.
Another aspect to be mindful of is the range's proximity to the road, coupled with a very low fence. This raises safety concerns, as balls have the potential to easily clear the fence and reach the road, posing a risk to vehicles and pedestrians. Implementing safety measures or adjusting the fence height could address this issue.
Furthermore, it's important to mention that the range is not particularly long, and the use of a driver is limited to the far left side. This might be a consideration for those looking for a more varied practice experience.
In summary, while the driving range offers affordability and is well-maintained, improvements in lighting and safety measures, as well as addressing limitations in length and driver usage, could enhance the overall appeal of...
Read moreNot a pleasant experience for the price paid 385€ : 2 players, 1 buggy, club hire. Oh and a free bottle of water! Course reasonable condition. but play so slow, took 5hrs to get round (in a buggy!!!!), nearly played 18th in the DARK. Course marshals would be helpful to ensure pace of play. We witnessed 3 groups leave the course unfinished! Also spoke to others who where dissatisfied. I'm aware that those who had paid for the twighlight tee off times would probably not complete 9holes if pace is so slow. We had to ask the team in front, to speed up the pace, and request they ask the team in front of them to speed up..... at one point there was a queue of 5 buggies waiting to T off on some of the front 9holes.... I had booked the round 3 days in advance face to face in the proshop. They didn't know anything about my booking on arrival! Positives now: lovely proshop stock, lovely club house., great driving range and practice area. Very pleasant course staff preparing buggies etc. The take home message here is "book an early T time to have a chance of completing before dusk" it would be appropriate for the club management team to address slow play marshaling for the future particularly in high season. This would allow their guests a pleasurable round of golf and not leave frustrated like we...
Read moreI was out Jogging on my first day of our holiday.
We are staying in a resort in the centre of the golf course. I didn't realise it had no public right of way as there was access from the hotel and no fence or barriers.
The staff tried running me over with a golf cart and we're highly aggressive and abusive. They had foul language and used racially degrading terms to address me. It was extremely shocking and intimidating.
I haven't encountered this in the UK before while jogging on paths through a golf course in my area as perhaps there are rights of way in the UK.
I definitely won't be taking our tour group to this establishment to play during our trip. I understand that perhaps rights of way are different here but this does not condone violence and racial abuse.
To leave the course I had to run to the nearest exit however they did not understand this and instead kept screaming at me with no assistance on how to find an exit onto the public roads. As a result I ended up lost and further persued by more aggressive staff who tried running me down with a golf cart.
I'm honestly in disbelief at the situation and by the violence of...
