Tried this place for the first time yesterday…service very friendly, although we seemed a little forgotten at times as no one would come by where we were seated… Atmosphere is ok, nothing fancy but nice and comfortable Food was just ok…aioli portion very small for the price and 2 bread rolls that come with it so you end up having bread left over but no aioli… We ordered the queso ahumado nothing great came out very quickly and the cheese was lukewarm at best… I ordered the solomillo, nice portion of meat and it was good but lacked a lot of seasoning, no salt or anything added really…real shame for the quality of meat it was… My partner ordered the matahambre pizza, again looked great but also lacked a lot of seasoning…the mojo of the papas arrugadas was watery, almost tasteless…sorry wish I could say it wasn’t so but it was..and I hardly seasoned my food at home due to health reasons but even to my standards the food lacked a lot of flavour, sadly don’t think we’ll be...
Read moreWe went to this place after reading Lonely Planet recommendation and had high hopes. Unfortunately its hard to say when the LP information was last updated. The restaurant is simply creepy. The decor... horrible. But the staff were supernice and showed us to the table. So there was hope. But when they brought us the dishes, it was clear - we were going to bed hungry. After an initial taste the suspicions unfortunately were confirmed. We left 95% of the food untouched. The waiter questioned us in a peculiar manner why we didnt like the dishes. We politely explained that the seafood was overcooked and the tomato salad was made of white tomatoes, obviously unripe. To our surprise the waiter didnt seem to care. Another one came up and charged us without saying a word - a dramatic change from the smiles we received upon entering.
