I recently visited a fantastic Spanish restaurant that truly exceeded all of my expectations. The standout feature of the meal was the expertly crafted dishes that were made using only the finest and freshest ingredients. It was clear that the chefs took great pride in their work and put a lot of thought into every dish.

One thing that stood out to me in particular was the special olive oil from Jaén that was used in many of the dishes and as a starter just with fresh and warm bread 🥖. It added a delicious and distinct flavor that really elevated the food to another level. The highlight of the meal for me was the morcilla , which was so delicious that it brought tears to my eyes. The flavors were so reminiscent of my childhood and all the memories associated with it in my home country.

The service was also excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to provide recommendations. The wine selection was also top-notch, with a great variety of Spanish wines to choose from that paired perfectly with our meal.

I should also mention that although the restaurant might seem like a local bar from the outside, once you step inside, the atmosphere is both elegant and cozy. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and tasteful decor create an intimate ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

It's the kind of place where you can come with a group of friends to catch up over delicious food and great wine, or have a romantic dinner with that special someone. The overall vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, but with a touch of sophistication that sets it apart from other restaurants in the area.

Whether you're a local or just passing through, this Spanish restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The high-quality ingredients, special olive oil, excellent service, great wine selection, and cozy yet elegant atmosphere all combine to make it an unforgettable dining experience.

The elaborated dishes, special olive oil, excellent service, and great wine selection make it a must-visit spot for any foodie.

Thank you Javier and Rachel for such an delicious food...

The best food in Gran Canaria so far! Friendly and good service. Great Atmosphere: clean, relaxed, and feels local. We came for lunch around 12:30pm on a Thursday and the restaurant wasn’t crowded. There were 2 other tables occupied. The are wines lining the walls and legs of jamon hanging from the ceiling. Price was reasonable. We paid €55.75 for 2 people. Some other reviews said it was expensive but we’ve been paying more at all other restaurants we’ve been to for past 3 days (we don’t even like those restaurants).

Cafe con leche is similar to latte and very smooth. I like my coffee not bitter so it was perfect!

Salad with asparagus and tuna was amazing. Highly recommend. The dressing was perfectly seasoned. My favorite salad on the island! Generous portion when order for 2 people.

Shrimp with garlic: good but typical. Will skip next time.

Plate of jamon (cured pork): very flavorful, the fat just melt in your mouth. Not too salty. Great with wine or coffee. Simply must try!

Overall the best meal we’ve had on the island (only been here for 3 days though)....

Was recommended this place - highly rated, they said. Ok, let's try it. For a local place that serves locals I thought it was going to be a more quantly decorated place. Instead it looks good but brand new modern Only does dinner two nights a week so I had to accommodate myself to that and book. A la carte menu with added board of the day's specials - no stated prices for these (warning!). One and half starters, one of which was excellent - white beans and cod, followed by very mundane fried meat main courses (you win some, you loose some). Drinks - two small sparkling waters, plus what seemed to be the better value red white bottle of Ribera del Duero variety at €19.50, (found online at €6.95) A little bit of bread with olive oil, and good service. Bill - €95.00 for two. My view - over priced if you consider you are likely to need a taxi there and back (€10), plus 10% tip on the...

A beautiful and delicious experience; the restaurant caters to exquisite and authentic flavor. The chef takes pride in their offerings, and that's made obvious through the experience of the dishes. The team is attentive and friendly, with a special thanks to Adriana, who encouraged my practice of Spanish while chiming in with English when I needed the support :) She was great! A rich selection of starters, mains, and desserts... and a fantastic collection of wines. Dip some bread in a heavanly mix of olive oil and sea salt. I really wanted to sample their desserts, but the starters and main had me too satisfied! Book a table in advance. Highly recommended, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
