Such a charming little gem in Sotogrande! This place is a favourite of mine, and honestly one of the few spots in the area where you can grab something sweet, refreshing, and to-go without the fuss of sitting down at a restaurant.
The owner is absolutely lovely. I once showed up a few minutes after closing and he still kindly served me a lemonade. On many other visits, I’ve been given super detailed explanations of the menu. It’s also the only place around that offers froyo.
They also do an incredible banana sorbet that’s rich and creamy (and vegan!), along with a whole range of vegan-friendly drinks and desserts. Their matcha is great, comes in several versions, and I always go for the Oatly one. It’s served fresh (not pre-made) and canned right there on the spot in adorable cans. I also loved the Dubai strawberries and other trendy items on the menu. Feels like the kind of place you’d stumble across in a much bigger city.
Yes, prices are a bit on the higher side, but completely fair for Sotogrande, and honestly no different from what Starbucks or similar chains would charge.
Just one small note to the owner, if I may: on a few recent visits, there was a new staff member with long black hair who didn’t quite match the otherwise welcoming vibe of the place. I’ve witnessed her speak quite sharply to the other staff (who were lovely, by the way), and one time she greeted me, only to immediately cut me off with a raised hand and a loud “one minute” in a tone that felt unnecessarily dismissive. I wouldn’t even mention it if it had been a one-off, but after a few repeated experiences, I thought it was worth pointing out.
That aside, I absolutely love this place and recommend...
Read moreTerrible experience with the owner probably. We use to go there a lot of times but we will not come any more. I dont reccommend to visit them I'm sorry that you didn't understand what it was all about. These attacks from you are primitive. I understand that for you it is only a business, but denying a toilet to a small child will certainly not bring you profit. Perhaps it would help you to read a book by Stephen Kendrick to discover what is wrong with you as an owner, but especially...
Read moreI had some trouble ordering some a boba tea. It took several tries to get it to go from plain tea to tea with boba even when I asked for and pointed to a predefined boba on the menu. It was explained to me that it was their first night on the job which I understand that learning new hospitality skills can be overwhelming but I was quite frustrated at the lack of boba in my boba tea. it was very plain and not remotely sweet… really just cold black tea with powdery...
