High hopes for a visiting Belgian but as often with high expectations comes great disappointment. Very friendly service would be the only saving grace of a thoroughly terrible dinner. Oldest daughter had a decent Caprese salad but hey, try and mess up a 3-ingredient dish right. Youngest daughter had the most bone-dry chicken nuggets with fries that were fried in oil that was long due a change. I had mussels to start with and while the mussels themselves were decent size and meaty, the mussels weren't properly washed and cooked in a broth that had more in common with dishwater. I could only see a lost few vegetables that gave the impression that this was flavourful. Served with a garlic mayo dipping sauce, I think... On to main course; ordered fillet steak (saignant or medium-rare) after only being given the options rare, medium or well done. Came to my table bleu and actually cold in the middle. Sent it back and came back properly cooked this time and meat was quality in fairness. The béarnaise was just shockingly bad or not a sauce really. Literally tarragon flavoured 2% fat cream for which I was charged 4 EUR even after politely pointing out it was flavoured milk and sending it back. Fries again in 2 month old oil accompanied by mayonnaise coming from a jar. It takes literally 5 mins to make a homemade mayo ffs. My belgian heart was bleeding more than my unrested steak (2nd time of asking) and would therefore recomend to stay away. Far better options in...

A great suprise in Sotogrande, we tried this by chance and to say we were pleased would be an understatement. We ate at lunchtime so dispensed with entrees and went straight to the main course,a great choice as the portion size was very large. My wife chose calves liver which is not often served in the area I live in and it was served medium rare which proved to be perfect, also on the plate were an onion gravy and potatoe gratin was served on the side all in all a very tasty dish. I chose what was described as a chicken volovant but was in reality a very large serving of poached chicken with a puff pastry case as an accompaniment, a choice of potatoes was served in a seperate dish. The chicken was so tender it flaked apart with minimal pressure from the back of a fork similar to extremely slow cooked beef, I have never had chicken as tender or as moist as this dish. Both dishes were large enough to be shared and divided in 2 the portion size would still be quite adequate. The staff were very polite and helpful and we will return when we are in...

This restaurant has ambitions to join the major league ALDI, LIDLand ICELAND!!!!! We specifically asked for Gluten free menu and were told that the Pizza was Gluten free what he omitted was so was the box it came in???? I on the other hand since it was a genuine Belgian Restaurant ordered Chicken Vol Von the frozen pastry could have came from Belgium (I Doubt It ) the Chicken and Sauce came from a can (not denied by the Chef). BUT the biggest Sin was the frozen chips were Reheats again not denied by the Chef ( Good For Her Honesty ) Beware Of This Belgium Restaurant It Is a Disgrace??? In case you don’t believe me I have owned a restaurant and my wife and I eat out on average 5 times a week and travel extensively every 6 weeks and you have to have money to stay in this Area !!!!!!!!!! That doesn’t mean we enjoy being Ripped Off, Yes we’re British and we still paid them €41 for a Frozen and Canned meal that would have cost £10 out off the above Competitors (I think Lidl etc can...

By far the best restaurant at the marina. Quality food ( with a Belgian flare) cooked to perfection, good service, comfortable chairs and white cotton tablecloths. Wide menu choice that caters as well to family ( pizza and pasta) but they are known for their higher end fare, particularly their beef. Had a melon that was covered with tender and delicious Serrano ham. The mussels in wine sauce were large, and cooked to perfection. We went for their chateaubriand which is a filet minion roast. Cooked exactly as we asked for and carved at our table with an excellent bernaise sauce and crispy fries. Mouth watering, tender and delicious. Very good Spanish wine list. Good value given the quality you get and prices of other restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.

This place is suddenly owned by Belgian owners but as a Belgian person I can tell you: this is not Belgian food. The quality was so poor that even if the prices were “low” it was still too expensive. We specifically said no bread yet they put some on our plate so they could charge cubiertos. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and my friend the “belgian” mussels. The pizza was of such poor quality with a thick layer of cheap cheese and the mussels were not cleaned properly and very small. Before this was a very good restaurant but now with the new owners it is horrible. The location is nice and that is about it. Don’t go here if you like good price/quality food.

This is a place located in a privileged and exclusive area. It is unacceptable that this is advertised in the menu as "garlic bread". This a simple sandwich slice with no flavour whatsoever. Really disappointing. The food took forever. I'm not asking for paradise but this is absurd. I just want my time to be worth while I'm having dinner. I'm definitely not coming back. Waiters could improve their service but the guy at the end was nice. Besides, the pasta was half-broken instead of being boiled at its full size. Pretty lame for the location.
