Restaurante el Pejin — Restaurant in San Sebastián de la Gomera

Absolutely terrible experience And terrible quality of food in this scam-ruled restaurant. They overcharged us for everything they had recommended (and it was obviously in things they didn’t have on the menu so we couldn’t have arguments to complain). As an example, 18 euros per person for 6 people (a total of 108 Euros) for a terrible grilled meat platter (no more than 10 pieces of meat). Besides, Most of the meat that it contained was of terrible quality. Another example, for a wine bottle that the owner recommended they charged 30 euros (in many other restaurants doesn’t cost more than 10 euros). When we tried to complain, they started making terrible arguments and even they insulted us twice. KEEP OUT!! There are plenty of good restaurants in San Sebastián, but this is not...

We had worst restaurant experience for a looong time. We had to choose this chaotic place because all other restaurants were full. The beer was warm, they had only three wine choices: red, white and rose. Tuna was overcooked. It was like a chewing gum.

I got tired of eating that and packed the steak to go. Fortunately our accomodation place's cat liked it.

The worst thing was pricing. Hand written bill was 25% too much. It seems like this happened next table too, so maybe it's a trend. You felt literally cheated when leaving the place. Not to mention that the credit card payment is not ok. Guess what kind of receipt you get :)

I guess their business idea is simple: try to  get all possible money from the poor first time visiting tourist - he or she is not going to visit...

Ate breakfast here this morning at 10 am , four hours later , at 2 pm I found myself hanging over toilet having a renessanse with the "fresh" mango juice she offered me and the vegetables. And I know it's from that meal also because I didn't eat or drink anything else ! No meny what so ever I am blaming myself how I could so easily go in this trap.
