BB Kafe — Restaurant in San Sebastián

I have been to this cafe many times, hoping it will improve, but sadly it hasn't. They have good products, but the execution is poor. The staff appear tired and uninterested, they also don't like to admit when they are wrong. When I worked in hospitality I was told the customer is always right but not here. On numerous occasions I have asked for my coffee to be "muy Caliente" (very hot) and every time it has arrived Luke warm, which by the time my toast arrived my coffee was cold. Also the toast had been standing too long and was like a rock. All this could be forgiven if it wasn't so expensive. I happy to pay more for a quality product. But I expect to be delivered in a quality way. With the increase in prices, I don't see a future for this cafe which is a real shame. I for one won't be returning. Local muy agradable en el barrio antiguo de San Sebastián! Pasamos por allí un día y decidimos probar para merendar y para desayunar otro día. En primer lugar, la comida está rica, el café es bueno y las bebidas especiales que pedimos estaban ricas. Pero.. a la hora del desayuno, tardan mucho en servir, hay mucha mucha demanda, y no dan a basto. De 25 a 30 minutos no baja la espera. Por otro lado, tuvimos dos malas experiencias tanto en la merienda como en el desayuno. En primer lugar, en la merienda pedimos los pancakes proteicos, que estaban muy buenos, pero después de los 8€ que te cobran por un plato de 4 diminutas tortitas, se les olvidó echarnos el crunchy proteico de cacao que ponía en la descripción del plato en la carta, es decir, el plato venía incompleto. Si no tienen porque se ha agotado, deberían avisar, porque cobran lo mismo estando incompleto. Por otro lado, en el desayuno pedimos la tosta de hummus, aguacate, PAVO, semillas y copos de chile. Las tostadas vinieron sin pavo, y le preguntamos a la camarera y nos dijo que si queríamos el pavo, tendría que ser como extra, pero en la descripción de la tosta en la carta pone que incluye el pavo con un precio total de 7€. Nos sentimos completamente engañadas. Y en ningún momento en los extras de la carta pone “pavo”, en definitiva la camarera se rió de nosotras porque nos puso también un precio aleatorio de lo que nos costaría poner pavo a una tosta que ya llevaba pavo incluido. (Adjunto carta) Por otro lado, los ingredientes del porrige no cumplen con la realidad de lo que te sirven en la mesa. Es un sitio de calidad, pero con uno precios elevados para la cantidad de comida que ponen, y por supuesto si no cumplen con lo que ponen en su carta, es todavía...

We had a delicious meal here, but we had to wait 40 minutes for our coffee and food, which wasn't great. The kitchen in the shop is far too small for such a large selection on the menu, which led to the staff being overwhelmed. The staff were really friendly and the food was delicious, but the portions were very small for the price. If you want a quick coffee here, you're in the wrong place because the coffee bar is only staffed by one employee according to capacity. If there was only one person in charge, you could at least bridge the waiting time for your meal...
