My original comment: Horrible service, rude staff and disgusting “chocolate explosion” desert. It’s not a chocolate explosion. They are very arrogant about their food claiming its the best food.
The owner replied claiming I was in a bad state. Odd as I didn’t have a drink up till that point.
Here is the reality.
I had a truly unpleasant experience at this restaurant and feel it’s important to share.
The staff were dismissive and rude, and the “chocolate explosion” dessert was extremely disappointing — overly sweet, poor quality chocolate and not what one would expect from a restaurant marketing itself as “the best.”
After a single bite of the dessert, my throat was burning from the sugar. I politely asked to cancel the drinks we had ordered (which had not yet been served) and simply pay for what we had eaten. Instead of acknowledging my feedback, the staff insisted their food was “amazing” and said “you are wrong, this is chocolate” and acted as though I was wrong for not liking it.
What shocked me most was how I was treated as a woman — I felt cornered, threatened, and spoken to with a level of hostility that was completely inappropriate. This is not how professional staff behave; it felt intimidating, almost like being confronted by thugs. No guest should feel unsafe simply for giving honest feedback.
The restaurant was empty, had no atmosphere, and I even saw another guest complain — so it clearly wasn’t just me. The most basic courtesy would have been:
• Acknowledging my feedback (“Thank you, we’ll share with the chef”) • Canceling the drinks that hadn’t been served • Treating me with respect instead of arrogance
Even when my partner asked for a Coke Zero (he is diabetic), we were brought a regular Coke — an unnecessary and careless mistake that could have had serious consequences.
A beautifully decorated restaurant cannot hide poor service, careless mistakes, and a dismissive attitude toward customers. Until the staff are trained to treat people — especially women — with respect, this will never be a 5-star experience
Our mistake was walking into your place falling for what was on Instagram and realizing it’s nothing but a well decorated place with very low class people, and I’m talking about the rudeness of the staff.
They’ve just opened up last year. This restaurant will not be successful. You already have a 4.2 stars. That will be down to 3.8 by end of next year.
The manager hired all this friends as staff. So you can imagine how if you make one comment that is negative. They need to learn how to speak to customers, especially when they are trying to deliver 5 star place and act like a 1 star!
After I got up to leave, the manager followed and all he wanted to do was be defensive and implying that I was wrong for not liking the service of their place. It was quite threatening to see a manager and a buff guy walking out almost to control the situation and yourself and your silence.
If that is not thug quality, I don’t know what is.
I would never recommend anyone going here if you want to high-quality and class and beautiful staff go to Sa Capella in the area. Sa Capella are five star quality. Despite stuff that’s written on google review. Don’t bother going to this place, it’s just a faux Instagram spot! With zero quality.
I know the owner will make a comment under this claiming that I did not arrive in a good state, which is ironic because I didn’t have a drink with my dinner when I was at a previous restaurant.
They just don’t like anyone giving any...
Read moreI have been told about this place and finally went, It is very difficult to get to and unless you do Valet parking (free for tips) you will need quite a walk. Other than that and after being lost trying to get to it we finally made it. Great reception and friendly staff, the place is a dream (do not mind the construction next door) we came for dinner and illumination is amazing. The menu is not large but has interesting things however not for every diet, so you need to adapt. Missing from it are very basic choices in case your diet does not allow you certain things (gluten, carbs, dairy, etc.) but will admit the food is spectacular, only wish they had more options. Service is splendid however a little slow, choice of wines is fantastic however this is one of the most expensive places I have been on the Island, so be ready to pay 20€ for a glass of wine, 100€ for a bottle and plates between 40€ and 90€. The place is worth it, but not for very often, I think if their prices would come down 25% it would be the perfect place to enjoy a Summer evening. This place has potential for a Michelin star, but there are just a few things I would fix first. I recommend it if you are ready to pay for it, it is really an experience and the food is worth it.
Update, all of what is above is correct but I need to drop my rating due to the fact that it seems the location is affecting the neighbourhood habitat and wildlife due to incorrect markings taking traffic to the wrong address, as an animal lover and friend with community I cannot longer give it the 5 stars it deserves until the solve the situation as it is part of the whole experience.
Final update: After my comment the Restaurant took action and corrected the issue by placing a large marking indicating the access to the restaurant, kudos for them and is back to 5 stars and I will go back as this place is amazing. I completely recommend it but just drive slow on the main road as there are feral cats crossing and nothing can make a day/night worse than...
Read moreUnfortunately we wanted to cancel last minute due to myself being ill (stomach flue). Waited until a few hours before the reservation to see if I got better but still couldn’t even smell food. So we called but without a doctor’s note they would charge us 50€ per person, so given we thought a 100€ was a lot we went anyways.
My husband took a main course (800gr fish - 44 euros) and green asparagus (28 euros for 10 asparagus) followed by coffee and dessert. I couldn’t eat more than the bread unfortunately. Food bill came to 125 euros.
The waiter asked if my husband wanted a glass of white wine and he said yes, a glass of dry wine is perfect thanks. Without asking for the wine list…
The wine was good so he had a second glass.
We were very impressed by the atmosphere and service provided by Frank but unfortunately we left with an even bigger knot in our stomach than when arriving.
One single glass of wine was 65 euros (!!!!!!!). When asked for clarification when we received the bill it was mentioned that they didn’t have house wine and that that was the price of the wine. I was too ill to argue, but we really felt ripped off.
Firstly, because there was no flex on the reservation. But then mostly because they don’t feel the need to inform someone about that price of the glass of wine. We knew the place was more expensive than average - but a glass of wine higher than the price of the main course… the waiter should have showed us the wine list. So extremely disappointed in the service. I actually feel ashamed for them to pull off something like that. You almost think that they were punishing us that I wasn’t eating… which would be shocking.
Food was great, location and setting beautiful, but we’ve eaten better in different places in Ibiza that...
