I went here on Monday 25 th September with my wife. We ordered drinks and food it had a nice atmosphere. I ordered spaghetti bolognaise my wife ordered tuna toastie. Food came out I tucked in to mine it was really nice. Garnish on side with a dressing. My wifeās had salad on it with tuna. We explained to the waitress it never stated salad on menu. With a face like stone she replied thatās how it comes. It didnāt state salad on the menu I replied. Anyway took away and brought back with a big smiley face it was the same sandwich with a bit of onion still on and tomato juice on the toast. Then I was just finishing my food I had eating enough. And found a curly hair in the salad. The manager was looking straight at me when I found it. Anyway I let the waitress no. In which she showed the manager. When the bill came NOTHING had change no opology nothing. I went and spoke to a waitress and her response was the boss said you had eatin most of it. I really sorry but when I go to a restaurant I donāt sit and go right thru my food lookin for hairs before I eat it š¤Ŗ. They past us 2 shots which I left.I was fuming. I explained Iām a stand up guy I not trying anything on. Itās just respect and I no it was an accident. The way they delt with these 2 x problems was appalling. Rather than sorting these problems out and getting praised your getting this. And slso most important message that night I was mugged about 40 yards from this place. My expensive watch was stolen at 915. People are getting mugged every night on the sea front watches and money I no of 4 other people now watches and 1 cash he was beating up. Please share this information and stay away from San Antonio bay beach front at night time . Please share on social networking please itās destroyed are holiday and wedding anniversary. Itās Moroccans lads doin it. Not lucky lucky men. Police are well aware they showed us about 40 mug shots. Be careful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAVOID. Shocking, rude, abusive service. I was assaulted by the man claiming to be the manager. Go to Bay Bar next door, or one of the many better, friendlier, cheaper bars along the seafront. I ordered an alcohol free cocktail as I wasnāt drinking, and confirmed twice, but after a few sips I thought I could taste alcohol. When I eventually caught the waitressā attention, she confirmed it had alcohol. I said I asked for no alcohol. She reluctantly changed it, with no apology. It can be very dangerous to serve alcohol to a non-drinker, who might be operating machinery or driving a vessel, but there was no care whatsoever. I decided to stay a while anyway and minded my business, and went to the counter to pay before I left as no one had offered me the bill or asked if I wanted anything else. I was presented with a bill for ā¬13. I reminded them it was a virgin Daiquiri, and the short, dark-haired young guy behind the bar waffled something about the āfruitsā. I got the menu, and showed him a regular Daiquiri for ā¬13, and referred to other cocktails with alcohol that were less, and smoothies that were ā¬8. He said āwhat is your problem, Iām trying to help youā. I said āyouāre not trying to help, youāre trying to con meā. He snatched the ā¬20 out of my hand, and threw ā¬7 change on the counter. āTake your change and get outā, another male waiter waved sarcastically and said ābyeā. Initially I refused to leave, asking for my money back, before I was assaulted and manhandled by 3 staff members. I wanted to retaliate and defend myself, but there were families present. An absolutely embarrassing, clearly homophobic display, not an ounce of hospitality or customer service in sight. Itās really no wonder they have to steal money to stay open. I work in hospitality, so I empathise with my fellow industry workers, but the current team here are vile and shocking. You should all be ashamed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreService was absolutely terrible. We sat down after being acknowledged and it took them like 15 minutes to come and take our order, after we flagged the waitress down. Later we tried to flag the waitress down to get the food menu and we did not get acknowledged so we had to go and get it ourselves. It then took them another 15 minutes to take our order. Some friends joined us when our food started to get served and ordered their food. We also asked for some salt and cutlery for us to eat. We were not brought the cutlery to eat chicken kebab with salad. We asked again. Still nothing. About 25 minutes into our meal we went up to the bar to ask for it directly so our friend could eat. Our friends that joined us late were waiting for over 50 minutes for their food (which was a plate of pasta, some fries and a starter). Around the 30min we complained to one of the waitresses about it, she did not get back to us. Around the 40 minute mark we asked another waiter and he said heād check. He said it was coming. 10 minutes passed and so we went to complain again and they said they didnāt realise the food hadnāt come. Eventually the good got here. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything. The location and decor is beautiful, but definitely do not recommend this place if you...
