Honestly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I had originally booked a king bed room and upon check in they told me they had “upgraded me” for free to a bungalow room. I specifically didn’t want this type of room because although it is bigger, it’s right next to the pool and the loud speakers. The room was super loud. Music blaring from the speakers at all hours and no privacy. When we were in the room, we found 2 lizards in the room that we had to trap with cups and also the AC did not work well at all, the air would not blow out of the vent strongly and they only had 1 AC vent on the upper level of a 2 floor room so it was hard for us to sleep.
Also, the food is super bad. Yes, it’s all inclusive but we didn’t eat at the hotel after the first night as the food was bland, undercooked, and tasteless. The breakfast was not much better. There were also lots of creepy older guys hanging around the lobby who were staring and catcalling my friends and I.
The worst thing about this hotel is what happened with the parking. I parked my rental car in front of the hotel when we checked in so we could unload our bags. After unloading everything, I was told at check in to park the car in the one lane next to the hotel on the side. This parking lane was super narrow, one way and you can only access it if you pull forward immediately when entering the hotel. I was going to exit the hotel completely, go to the roundabout nearby turn around and then enter the hotel again so I could pull straight back in to the parking lane.
As I was at the exit driving away. The lady from reception runs out and tells me to back my car up and enter the parking lane even though it is a narrow one way lane. I told her no, that’s not possible because it’s one lane, super narrow and the other side of the lane was a brick wall. This lady spoke no English and I speak Spanish at a conversational level but I do not know how to communicate more complicated things. She continued yelling at me and demanding that I back into the narrow parking lane which makes no sense as it was super tight and any logical driver would just exit and enter the parking lot again so they could easily pull forward into the lane and park. She started yelling so I backed into the spot and she also demanded I park in between two large vans even though there were 3 free parking spots right next to it. She kept telling me to back it in and I kept screaming “no es posible, es demasiado difícil”. Due to her unreasonable demand that I back into a Specific spot, I ended up scraping the front and back of my rental car which I ended up having to pay €450 euros to repair. I yelled at this lady because it is completely her fault. Never had this kind of experience at a hotel where they don’t allow you to exit the hotel, turn around and drive in the correct direction into a parking lane. Will never ever stay here again and I urge others to not stay here. I travel a lot and this is the worst hotel...
Read moreHi, I would like to share my shocking experience from hotel, I am still here and I am talking about room 238 ( pictures attached)
I have been given this DELUXE room, as they call it. I have book room ( Deluxe size 35 square meter) My room had 14 square meters including bathroom.
You just step into room and you only 190 cm bed almost from wall to wall, the space left for you, to walk around is 30 cm and in those 30 cm is hanging TV, ( check the pictures please, there also my leg, just to compare the size of space) So if you like to get on the other side of room, you have to roll over bed, or rip of the TV from the wall. The TV is 50 cm above the bed, so you can not actually pass, only if you 120 cm toll.
The room is next to staff facilities ( very noisy in the morning) and facing amazing view, roof and noisy road (bravo) the room is smelling like ashtray and looks pretty bad, old ( I am not picky person, travel a lot, but this was the worst room ever in my life) is not actually room, it's cupboard for cleaners pretending to be room.
Size of room is 2.2 meters x 4 meters plus bathroom.
So I decided to go on reception and asked for room change, the blond lady told me, all the rooms are the same and all are called deluxe. I asked her, as I have walking disability, as she could see it. Nope, no change.
So I gave up, but than I met lovely lady, who had the same room as I. Than I was shocked, the room was nice, much bigger, spacious for the same money as mine.the same room category .
So the receptionist just LIED to me. The room I have is not even offered on their websites. Disgusting!!! Lied to disabled person !!!
On websites ( picture attached) this is the basic worst room they offer. And it is still looking great compare to mine.
I would like to warn you, because my holiday has been ruined, I have not been able to enjoy my staying in the room, because I could walk on the other end of room, I could just roll over bed to reach chair and balcony
Thank you to reception team to not care for disabled people. Even if I paid deluxe spacious room and given this sh..y cupboard.
Hotel is not full ( 12th April) so they could easily swap it.
Let's move to other things,
Food and drinks are good, nice variations, lots of everything and drinks good. Personal on bar and restaurant, chefs extremely nice and helpfull.
Acces to the beach is great help. water in swimming pool is quite cold.
Evening programs for guests nice.
But my feeling that this hotel has 4 stars and they give you room like this is just shocking. It's not on level 4 stars hotels but maybe 3 stars
Regards Petr Hejtkov room 238
Ps: Dear Eliana, I just read your answers to other reviews, you mention " we always try to solve the issues" it's not.actually true at all, I'm asked to change the room, nothing happened and there are bigger rooms in the same price DELUXE category. As I have seen it in my...
Read moreEverything about this hotel is solid. It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the city center of Sant Antoni by walk from the hotel. It has a direct connection with the beach, so you just walk from the pool downstairs and you are on the beach. The hotel has one pretty big pool and a lot sunbeds around it. It also has a huge lobby which I think is kinda useless because people are not really spending time there and the lobby is next to the pool (so maybe they could build an indoor pool there instead of the giant lobby). When it comes to the rooms, they are spacious, clean and the bathroom is pretty nice. However they are a bit older. If I get it right you have 3 types of views from the balcony - 1. view to the street 2. side view on the sea and 3. front view on the sea. However there is one more type of room which is right next to the pool, it is like a bungalow type of a room and that looks pretty sick to be honest. The cuisine is very delicious, you have a big grill where every day for lunch and dinner the staff cooks 2 types of meat and 2 types of fish. Beside that you have a giant kebab, 3 types of home made pizzas. Then 8 different meals (paellas, pasta, fried stuff, boiled vegetables, meat in sauce, side dishes..). There is a huge selection of salads and deserts (which I highly recommend to try local tiramisu, which is better than in Italy). Near the pool you have a pool bar with a bug selection of sodas, drinks, alcohol etc. The staff is amazing, always smiling, asking if you feel comfortable, if you dont need anything, if you would like a coffee etc. They always ask you how are you, tell jokes. Almost every evening and every early afternoon there is someone who sings or plays a musical instrument (check my video with saxophonist). The gym could be better honestly, but I would describe it as an average hotel gym with some dumbbells from 5 to 20 kg. There is a leg extension/leg curl machine, shoulder press machine/chest press machine. 2 benches and 2 treadmills. There is also a table tennis near the gym. The animation team is very friendly, throughout the day they give you quiz, play table tennis, aqua gym… I think that this hotel is a great choice if you are visitng Ibiza and also want to chill and relax, the O Beach Club is approximately 3 minutes by walk away from the hotel and on the Promenade you have a lot of bars on the way to the city center which offers you a plenty of clubs. However be careful because on the promenade is a lot of thieves, which I think that you will be able to identify easily, but in the later evening I would not suggest to go alone. Near the hotel on the beach is also a calisthenics workout place, which is pretty good. Overall it was a very plaesant experience...
